  Nice and cozy, well maintained and clean. Spacious rooms and big beds. Awesome view, friendly staff, and above all, cheap prices. Definitely well spent money:) Most recommended!

  A very nice hostel. Great location. Close to the beach and many delicious cheap local restaurants. The staff are super nice and very accommodating. I was sad that I only got to stay for one night. I would 10/10 recommend using this hostel to anyone visiting the area.

  Nice relaxed place, nice beds and a cheap price. It's a bit away from the city center so you have to walk a bit for shops and restaurants! Otherwise the place is pretty nice, you get the possibility of a kitchen, good wifi. The showers makes the whole bathroom wet, but this is usual on the hostels. The staff is very helpful and helped us a lot in booking a trip to the caves and for luggage storage while we were on our trip!

  Let's start with the positives: the location is great! Just off the main road, half way between the beach and main town. This location was ideal for us as it meant we could walk to both. Aircon kept the room cool. However, I wouldn't call this a homestay. It was a poor quality hostel, and probably the worst place we have stayed in Vietnam. We found it to be very dirty and unkempt. The walls had questionable stains, window sill and down the side of a he bed were filthy, We went for the private room with 'private' bathroom. However, this was just basically a cubical on the side of the shared bathroom. It made the room lack in privacy. The air conditioning leaked, so don't put anything underneath it, although it's basically the only place to put your bags. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable and didn't appear particularly clean. Staff were fairly friendly. I don't recommend staying here.

  There were cockroaches flying like birds in our room, the toilet could not be flushed at night, we booked 2 rooms but there were only one hair dryer, the rooms were very stuffy. The only plus point is the view from the bathroom window. And the location is at the center of many thing.

  If, like me, you choose a hostel based on location and guest reviews, be careful. After booking my stay at RiverView HomeStay (4.4☆), I was informed that the room I booked was in a different building, 200 meters away, which is called RiverView HomeStay 2. The room was moldy, on a large, noisy street, and had a rating of 3.9☆ - which I do not recommend. Even if it was stated somewhere that it was a different homestay (though I don't know about it), it wasn't clearly stated during the booking process. This is very unfair.

  Extremely unprofessional staff. Shared bathrooms are a pain. They make promises they can't keep. I suggest stay away. 1. My employer pays, as per you (manager), he is your friend. 2. Each time I got a spoon of food, I paid back with two spoons. If they were friendly, I went far being friendly. 3. Not only shampoo, my things are getting stolen from the kitchen. The staff clearly says it's not their responsibility. So, I asked, if I should go to the police?

  The positives; ||- The building looks nice.||- Location is pretty good, close to restaurants and the ocean.||||The negatives;||- Staff doesn't speak English at all.||- The bed was clean, the rest of the room not so much||- Bathroom is shared, which is mentioned in details but you don't expect it when booking a "deluxe room"||Neighbourhood is pretty loud
