  After our cruise we had to wait for a night bus to Cao Bang and stumbled upon this little coffee shop. We decided to spend most of the afternoon here drinking various delicious iced teas and trying the bahn mi, that are pressed like a panini and one of the better I’ve had so far in Vietnam. The staff(owner?) is very friendly and it’s very affordable on a back packer budget. The music is chill and space is cozy inside and out. Add it to your Ha Long list if you’re looking to relax Before or after your cruise.

  We discovered MOC Cafe and it immediately became our go-to spot for morning coffee and smoothies for the kids. Their Banh Mi sandwich is also very tasty. By the end of our stay, the staff even remembered our orders! Overall, they helped us feel right at home.

  We went there during our stay in Halong Bay in the morning. The Vietnamese coffe was really good & you should try their Banh Mi. The atmosphere is great also. Thank you Môc Coffee for this positive experience.

  Hidden gem! The ca phê muoi(salted coffee) was so delicious and creamy. The avocado/mango smoothie was also my favourite. Enjoy also a banh mi on the side. Excellent service

  I would highly recommend this cafe , the best coffee you can get , their atmosphere is also good with a outstanding service. This is one of my favourite in Vietnam

  I came hoping for an expresso hot latte. They do not serve any expresso type drinks. So I had a hot jasmine tea which was great. Friendly service, fair prices, frequented by many locals.

  Lapp are to be a frequented coffee shop, friendly lady behind the toll. I had a hot coffee with milk, couldn’t drink it. Made with robusta bean that was very bitter. I have never had my coffee served in a saucer of hot water to keep it hot, interesting idea. Many locals were enjoying it so maybe it’s a cultural thing?
