  When you go to Vietnam, don't forget to include Diamond Cruise as your holiday destination. You can get picked up at the Hanoi open house area, including lunch, canoeing or bamboo climbing, climbing caves and getting amazingly beautiful views.

  We had a bit struggle with the transport we booked from Halong to Hanoi. But the receptionist Linh helped us a lot with contacting the bus organisation! Thank you for the excellent service!

  Great location and balcony view! I walked the area for 3-4 hours and felt safe. The room was good-sized and looks like it was a 5-star hotel at one time. There is heavy mold on the curtain in the shower, but it is humid. The huge downside was checking out. It must have been the owner or manager that sat there staring as you check out, then walks out behind you, maybe to see if you left the property, then he went back inside. Just my perception, but an it was an uncomfortable moment. (USA review)

  We stayed here 3 nights. First night we arrived we saw a big cockroach drop from the ceiling and scurry off as soon as we opened the elevator. Was 4am so we had to stay. Seemed ok besides that, very comfy bed, nice staff, didn’t see anything else. Ended up because of plans staying another night and all was ok. 3rd night we see 2 baby cockroaches in room same time. I go downstairs to tell them and by the time I come back with a new room key my fiancé had killed another. There was also 2 dead small ones outside this room. The staff kinda laughed it off I mean I get it’s a thing here and I was really trying to play it off too but this needs attention. They said house keeping would be in tomorrow, house keeping is not an exterminator. They also need to deal with some mold around the sinks in the bathroom and not working shower in the deluxe room. There’s zero stir sticks but has coffee in each room and the one room could have been cleaner as shown by coffee station. As we were leaving there was a huge cockroach in the elevator when it opened. 6th floor is where we saw them all.

  Old room, receptionist tried to push us down to the wrong and cheaper room than which we booked on Agoda. We did not accept it then, the terrible attitude came afterwards. No car parking as they promised, we needed to park on a street side.

  My husband and two children stayed for two nights in a top floor family room with amazing views over Halong and Bai Tu bays. Rooms are very modern, super clean and so comfortable. Staff provide exceptional service, breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend afternoon drinks in the rooftop bar!

  The room was nice, with a good view of the bay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
