  Staff are really nice and helpful. They have a nice buffet breakfast, they even allow late checkouts if the room is available. They even have a modest gym with 3 machines and an indoor swimming pool (but it has a very strong plastic-y smell that is not like chlorine). Near good restaurants while at the same time not overcrowded. :)

  No food around area, everywhere shuts at 8pm. No skybar Staff did not care that i had my ring stolen, they showed me cctv footage of the wrong area which is just stupid and showing me footage of people when the area was closed off, obviously indicating that it wasn’t them! How brain dead can you be smh That ring was my great great grandfathers signet ring and they didn’t care one bit. Either one of the cleaners stole it or it grew legs and walked away

  Best stay at Ha Long DC! The rooms were spacious and clean - cleaned well everyday by the staff. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay as well.||Facilities were great - breakfast had many fresh and different options each day with Asian cuisine, egg station and fresh fruit. ||A great stay here, will definitely be returning!

  First of all, the staff was so nice and helpful. We purchased the boat tour package from them, and they took care of everything for us, which was a huge relief after the constant traveling we were doing. They also arranged a taxi to pick us up upon check out and take us to the bus station. The lobby is beautiful, hotel is close to the Plaza shopping center, little boutiques and restaurants. There is a bar lounge area on an upper floor, as well as a hotel restaurant. The food was good for dinner. The breakfast though was the best I had during my vacation. Our room was on a higher floor and looked out onto the bay, which was so unbelievably beautiful. The room was really big for 2 people, the bathroom was very nice, and the terrace was also a good size. Bed was super comfy. This room and was a breath of fresh air! Especially for the great price.

  The size of the room is really great! We had extra bed in the room as there were 3 of us and yet there was so much space to move around! One of the biggest rooms Ive seen. The view from the room of Halong bay is spectacular. The girls in the hotel are very helpful and nice. But they should be trained to speak english!

  I recently stayed at this charming hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made my visit enjoyable. The room was well-appointed, and I appreciated the little touches that added to the experience. The breakfast spread was delightful, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. A lovely place to unwind

  Went to Ha Long bay to Hike up poem Mountain and decided to stay here because it is like right around the block. The photos on the homepage looked nice so we thought alright, perfect. Once we arrived it was very weird. We were the only people in the 21 story building except the people working there. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the bay. That’s why I did not give the worst rating. Our room was clean but had a very bad smell. The bathroom smelled like somebody has been smoking in there for years and when you turn on the AC you feel like you are on a fish market and all the fish turned old. Another con was, that the staff did not speak English at all and did not understand our complaints. We decided to just stay one night. The staff could also not help us any to find a transportation back to Ha Noi.||By the way poem mountain is also closed by the police

  Body-building equipment dates back to the war. The bike seat doesn't fit, so it's impossible to work pectorals with the machine. The air conditioning is gone. I had to pay for two bottles of water ( 40k vnd) in the room, even though they're just sitting there with nothing written on them. Apart from the room, nothing is good for the price.
