  Stayed for 1 night after a cruise. The hotel was emaculate from decor, touch panel technology, cleanliness and fragrant scent through the hotel. My first thought was boujee with elegance. Staff was attentive, the room was clean and spotless, the breakfast was fresh and neatly presented. I enjoyed the selection of fruits (guava, apple, passion fruit, dragon fruit, water melon and fruit salad) and also selection of soups and juices. The rooftop was very nice with great views, free spa use of sauna, steam room, pool and gym. All very clean. We were fortunate that we were the only ones there so had the place for ourselves to chill. As some reviews said there is a concert on in the evening but the sound proofing in the room I felt was quite good, I couldn't hear much. There wasn't much to do around the area besides the beach, bazaar (6pm open) and cafes but I can see there are future plans for a Sun Plaza tourist attraction. I am sure once the town develops, this hotel will be very popular. 1 note for the hotel manager: the shower cubicle glass panels where it joins along the hinge section has a gap so water escapes. Maybe see if they can add a rubber seal flap to stop water leaking? Overall, I truly felt like it was a 5* hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable, luxury stay. So far our best hotel stay while travelling from Hanoi and Sapa.

  The hotel definitely lived up to its name, it is very elegant and aesthetically pleasing. Upon arrival, staff were friendly and attentive. Going to our rooms it was quite modern with the touch screen but keeping to its majestic appearance. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. Shower room was clean. They even had a spa room and gym which had all the equipment in place - overall looked very new and clean. Breakfast had a wide range of variety. I do feel that some of the reviews were unfair - in terms of noise level from outside (there’s some kind of night festival / club at night which is about 15mins walk away blasting music - but this is not the fault of the hotel; just better research could have been done on their end). Besides within the hotel room I couldn’t even hear it.

  Very nice hotel. Yes, it's in an area which is kind of a ghost town, but just take a grab anywhere you want to go. Rooms are very nice, staff is super friendly.

  when we first walked into the hotel our reaction was amazement at the detail of the reception it was immaculate, it carried onto the rooms which were in a 5 star class, room was clean to perfection and bed was so comfortable, onwards to the roof top pool and wow, the views were good and the area was kept to a high standard

  Really nice hotel and amazing amenities - the clean pool, gym, sauna, steam room, all included in the stay! We really enjoyed these aspects however I have to take a star for the location and the nightclub that blasts music every evening until late, even on weekdays. This is unfortunate as it’s not the hotels fault but I feel I should warn others. The area is also not the best with not much to do but good for a night before going to Ha Long bay etc.

  Clean and nice hotel with decent value for the money. We stayed for two nights. Unfortunately, the hotel used misleading promotional photos — the room category we reserved clearly showed natural daylight in the photos, but the room we received faced to an elevator. We chose this hotel mainly because of the buffet breakfast. However, the buffet was available only on the first morning. On the second morning, breakfast was limited to a small menu selection, and the photos on the menu did not reflect the actual food served (they used stock photos for menu). I specifically ordered my breakfast without tomatoes, but received tomatoes anyway. After asking for a different plate without tomatoes, I was served tomatoes again. Only one staff member spoke English well. The rest had very limited English skills or relied on Google Translate, which is not what I would expect from a 4-star hotel, especially when around half of the guests were Western tourists. Most tourists come to Ha Long for cruises that usually end around 5 PM, so it was disappointing that the pool closed at 6 PM. There was also no cellular signal in the room, and the Wi-Fi was quite slow. Overall, our stay was okay for the price, but there are several areas where the hotel could improve.

  Very good stay! Lovely hotel. Great breakfast. Staff very helpful. Great use of pool, gym and sauna. Not many restaurants nearby and town is very quiet. But loved our stay at the hotel!

  1. Staffs should be more friendly and helpful with guests2. Hotel is nearby to 2 outdoor pubs which are to noisy for guests3. Chef did not make a soft-boiled eggs for guest even it is very easy for her to do4. Too many kids were playing in a night time like they were in an amusement park (guests in some rooms did not take care their children well)
