  I was in villa 118 and the service was excellent. I would especially like to thank Ms. Vũ Phương Quỳnh — she was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, and she made our stay feel very welcoming and comfortable from the moment we arrived. I also want to compliment the rest of the staff. Everyone we met was polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The teamwork and hospitality really stood out. The location is peaceful and convenient, the villa was clean and spacious, and everything was well prepared. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented at every meal. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would happily come back again. Highly recommended.

  Our family had a very good experience staying overnight at Oakwood Hotel Ha Long. Our children watched the World Cup on the large TV in the living room. The garden around the house was well-maintained, and the trash was collected cleanly. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of food. It would be even more convenient if there were more trash cans in the common areas. The umbrella should be placed downstairs instead of in the wardrobe. Thank you for the attentive and enthusiastic service from the operations team at Oakwood Ha Long.

  For the type of hotel/resort this is, it could have been better. We had two villas booked at this hotel and when our luggages were brought to the villa the assistance brought all luggage to one villa and told us to move the remaining to the next villa ourselves, when he could of just use his vehicle to move the remaining to the next villa. Upon entering the entrance of one of the villa there was trash bag left to the side that was not cleaned up. We also noticed this villa was also not as cleaned as the other villa. Carpets were dirty and had crumbs. One of the bathroom also had a pee stain smell. We called front desk to complain about the smell and a housekeeper came to check it out. We tried to explain but the housekeeper didn’t believe us. The housekeeper also went up and smelled the bathroom and said it was musk, but it was clearly not. Until our father came and spoke in their language and then the housekeeper agreed. They did some light cleaning but it still did not resolve the issue. We decided to suck it up and had a part of our group sleep in the other villa as there was an extra room. Other than that, the host at front desk left much to be desired. We asked for restaurant recommendation at Ha Long Bay and all they could tell us was “seafood”. No mention of restaurant or anything specific. For a 5-star hotel, I expected better service and cleanliness. I hope they train their staff well to help tourist out on recommendations around the area.

  Our family had the best holiday stay at oakwood. We even came back a second time on our visit as we enjoyed it so much. The staff are so welcoming and so lovely. The unit was so clean and huge. Its great for large families too. Food buffet was the best. We cannot recommend them enough. If you want a relaxing holiday in a good location near the beach and not far from town. Oakwood is your place to book. Will definitely come back.

  It was a truly wonderful and cozy place. From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and relaxing atmosphere that made us feel comfortable right away. The interior was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They greeted us with genuine smiles and were always ready to help whenever we needed anything. Their kind and professional attitude made us feel valued and well taken care of.The service was fast and well-coordinated, and everything was handled smoothly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend this place to others.

  Superb villa. Luxurious 5-star accommodation. Cleaned daily and lovely well maintained grounds. Two very good sized pools. Great breakfast with plenty of choice.||Mini mart and a few very good restaurants (Papa’s BBQ and Vinace Italian) local to the resort.||Ate in the resort on a couple of occasions. Food was good but restaurant was very quiet with no atmosphere and service slow. ||Overall, excellent stay and would certainly recommend this resort.

  * A very suitable resort for families or larger groups, especially thanks to its spacious and well-designed villas at a reasonable price point.|* The location is quite convenient, close to many attractions such as the beach (a short walk across), Sun World, and various seafood restaurants.|* Facilities are fairly complete: gym, two swimming pools, breakfast service, etc. The buggy service is efficient, with quick response times.|* The villa itself is clean, spacious, and well-equipped. It features both front and back gardens, a washing machine, and a large refrigerator. However, basic kitchenware (plates, pots, pans) comes at an additional cost, which could be better communicated in advance.|* A small deposit is required upon check-in; it would be preferable if this were clearly informed beforehand.|* Breakfast is good, offering a decent and varied selection in a spacious setting.|Overall, the resort offers strong value for money and is well-suited for a relaxing stay. However, the customer service could be improved — staff interactions feel somewhat limited, and there is a noticeable lack of flexibility in handling guest requests.

  I love the space - public and private. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Pools are big and pretty (yes, pools, many big pools). It is super close to the beach too. Staffs are nice. The whole place is quiet and peaceful
