  Halong Royal hotel is one of the best hotel you can find in Halong, The room is big very spacious, good smell, the bed and pillows every comfortable, the bathroom big too, cold and hot shower works really good. The food is excellent especially the breakfast, i Forget the name of the noodle soup i eat every breakfast, but it's a beef noodle soup taste so delicious, I eat it 3 times a day honestly, and the stuff really nice, friendly and helpful, Especially Mr. HƯNG NGUYÊN, he is very accommodating to us, he's helping with many things, he's not only helping us but he's helping us with the heart, and he make sure we have the best holiday experience in halong. Thank you so much Halong Royal hotel we have the a great staying in your Hotel.

  It is great hotel to stay while doing a day Ha Long Bay cruise tour. Our room was upgraded on arrival to sea view side. Thank you for your great service.

  We stayed at Royal Halong Hotel from 02 - 05 March 2026. Our room (603) was spacious with a King size bed, a sofa and a beautiful view of the Ha Long Bay. The staff were courteous, friendly, and provided great service.

  This is not a 5 star far from it. 3 star if I'm being generous I've stayed at the Yacht hotel by Dc in the same area also which is an actual 5 star and it was beautiful what you'd expect for a 5 star executive suite there is a big difference in quality they are not comparibale in any way . It's like comparing an old Honda Civic to a Ferrari they are not the same We checked in our room and checked out pretty quickly. .it smelt of mould stale musky and cigarette. As did the rest of the building The walls were gruby not cleaned. The pool looked gross green crap at the bottom we took video and pictures to prove this if I could upload them here I would The lobby looked nice and welcoming but the rest of the building didnt match that same standard .definitely needs some renovations or something drastic to be considered 5 star These other reviews we read don't seem to match what we experienced bots maybe who knows 🤔 We found a 4 star boutique hotel on the same street a few hundred metres down the road and man what a difference in quality this Boutique smells nice and fresh and is so clean in comparison with beautiful friendly staff this is closer to 5 star than the crappy ROYAL HALONG HOTEL with a fake star rating We asked to be refunded for the 2 nights we booked through Agoda they offered less than half of what we paid . what a joke Weve spent $1000s over the years traveling with Agoda and this is how they treat there customers when issues arise After travelling consistently around the world for years this is the 1st time we've had an issue like this I Will be posting this to all social media platforms to warn others regardless very disappointing maybe that's why it was empty Save your MONEY TIME and NOSTRILS by not coming here to avoid dissatisfaction

  The staff is extremely rude, they will paste a sticker on your shoulder without asking you. Chinese culture considered bad luck. Avoid this place Edit: This casino is live dealer instead of machine deal, which is illegal in vietnam

  I had the most incredible experience at this 5-star hotel in Ha Long Bay. Thanks to the low season and Tet (New Year 2025), I was able to get an amazing deal, but even at full price, the service and attention to detail were absolutely outstanding—beyond 110%!||Originally, I had booked a different hotel and arrived on New Year’s Eve, only to find that everything was closed—restaurants, supermarkets, and more. I ended up walking to the Royal Ha Long Bay for lunch, as it was the only hotel restaurant open. The next day, due to unforeseen circumstances (or perhaps fate), I had to leave my original hotel, and I checked into the Royal instead. After the incredible experience I had, I truly believe everything happens for a reason.||From the luxurious bed and breathtaking views to the spa—where I had the best hot stone massage of my life—I couldn’t have asked for more. I slept like a baby! The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, offering a wide variety of options to suit everyone’s taste.||However, the highlight of my stay was the staff. They went above and beyond to assist me, helping with transport bookings, making phone calls, and arranging everything I needed. Even after checking out, they graciously allowed me to use the sauna and steam room at no extra charge. Their warmth and hospitality truly set this hotel apart.||The owner of the Royal Ha Long Bay should be incredibly proud of the exceptional team working here. I will definitely return in the future and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ha Long Bay.||With Love and Happy New Year - Laura
