  We had the most incredible time at the Watson and will definitely come again when visiting Ha Long! We stayed for 2 nights and i wish it were longer. From the start the entire staff was extremely nice and helpful and all speak great English. We were able to check in early and as we booked 2 different rooms for each night they allowed us to upgrade to stay in the nicer room both nights. All other staff around the hotel are also very friendly, from those who work at the pool, the breakfast buffet, and even the man who works in the parking garage who even helped us put air in our tires before we left. The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water and good pressure, but the highlight of the hotel and our favorite part where we basically stayed the entire 2 day visit was laying by the rooftop pool!!! There are comfy beds, a beautiful view, and even drinks and food so you never have to leave. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful, and as a vegetarian there were more than enough options for me. We cannot recommend this hotel enough!!

  Hands down one of the best hotels I stayed in in my 6 weeks travel of southeast Asia. Weeks before arriving to Halong Bay, I contacted the hotel to arrange for airport pickup. Ms Kasey was prompt, professional and easy to coordinate. In person, she is kind and service is top notch, along with all staff in the hotel. I would also acknowledge the pool captain. He was so nice and recommended me a wonderful scenic walk and was so patient in translating his recommendation. Beautiful views of the bay, clean spacious rooms and facilities. My family and I really enjoyed this stay and would stay here again 10x over. Highly recommend.

  Myself and a group of friends visited the hotel rooftop bar for drinks and food. The cocktails were delicious and high quality. However, the same sadly couldn't be said for the food. We ordered bar snacks, burger and a pizza. All the food came out separately and took over an hour to receive, despite asking for updates on our food a couple of times. Although the wings and chips were good, the Pizza could do with more flavour and was quite bland. We had also asked for several portions or wings and only 3 individual wings turned up, so definitely think about what you decide to order. The setting however was beautiful. Pristine hotel in a prime location, wirh amazing views of all of Haling Bay. A beautiful rooftop pool as well, so I'm sure staying at the hotel is an amazing experience. I'd recommend the drinks at this bar, but maybe skip the food, if you're stopping by.

  The hotel is very nice and well located. However, checking out at 11 is too early. If check-in is from 2pm, why will the check out be before 12? I don't find this fair. The service room in the morning makes too much noise. They woke us up around 6AM banging something against the floor. I guess it was the vacuum. Plus they were moving things around the room next door, talking and laughing like they were alone in the building. At the same time, they did the room service to our room and they didn't clean the toilet. I know because there was still paper inside when I opened it. So I cannot know the level of cleanliness to be honest. Looks clean in general but maybe it is not that clean.

  We have travelled before and stayed in many hotels, but The Watson Premium Hotel gave us one of the warmest and most memorable experiences we have ever had.Everything was outstanding, the room, cleanliness, beautiful decoration, atmosphere, pool, food and the Service.What impressed us most was the feeling that hospitality here is deeply understood. From management to every team member, it seems there is a clear vision of what guests truly need to feel comfortable: peace, cleanliness, privacy, comfort and genuine care.Our experience started before the official check in time. We were allowed to enter our room earlier than expected, which is quite uncommon in many accommodations. After travelling for many hours, this thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us and immediately made us feel welcomed and cared for.You notice this attention in many thoughtful details:The hallways have carpet, which keeps footsteps and luggage noise very quiet. The rooms are impressively soundproof, allowing us to sleep deeply and finally enjoy peaceful rest in a hotel. The bathrooms are beautiful and equipped with high quality facilities. There is no carpet inside the rooms, which creates a fresher feeling and is ideal for guests with allergies.One situation especially showed the exceptional service. We booked a long distance ride through Grab, but because of language barriers and additional costs such as toll or airport fees, the situation became stressful and confusing. The hotel team immediately helped us, explained everything patiently and organised an excellent alternative driver with a very comfortable and well maintained car. Their attentiveness gave us a much safer and more relaxing journey.We also appreciated many small things. Even late in the evening, food arrangements were still possible. Housekeeping was always respectful and considerate, even calling instead of disturbing guests directly. Around the pool, staff created a comfortable atmosphere with sensitivity and discretion, allowing guests to truly relax.We will definitely return to Ha Long Bay and without hesitation stay here again.

  Our stay at The Watson Premium HaLong Hotel was absolutely spectacular! This stunning waterfront hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and comfort in one of Vietnam's most beautiful bay destinations. The room was incredibly spacious with a magnificent view of Ha Long Bay's iconic limestone karsts and emerald waters. We spent hours gazing at the breathtaking scenery from our private balcony, watching traditional junk boats sail past and the sun set behind the towering peaks. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with premium linens ensuring restful sleep after days of exploring. The bathroom was luxurious with a deep soaking tub and premium toiletries. The hotel's facilities were outstanding - we loved the outdoor swimming pool overlooking the bay, the well-equipped fitness center, and the relaxing sauna. The hotel's restaurant served delicious Vietnamese and international cuisine, with fresh seafood being the highlight. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet featuring an amazing selection of fresh fruits, local pastries, and made-to-order eggs. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always with warm smiles and excellent service. They arranged an unforgettable Ha Long Bay cruise for us aboard a traditional wooden vessel, complete with kayaking and visits to floating pearl farms. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring Ha Long City's attractions, including the impressive Quang Ninh Museum and the vibrant night market. We also took advantage of the hotel's shuttle service to Cat Ba Island for a day of adventure. For travelers seeking a luxurious retreat in Ha Long Bay, The Watson Premium is an exceptional choice.   Ghost town, nothing to see, shops closed down nothing but road works everywhere. |Atmosphere not good as staff in pool area should have stopped loud and poor behaviour from other guest who were obviously interrupting all guests. |Rooms excellent, suit was stunning with views across the sea and very large. |We stayed 13-15th April 26 and staff during the day in the sky bar were helpful, very attentive to serving all people at the pool. |Night staff in the sky bar were shocking ignoring us and didn’t want to serve us and favoured other guest who were drinking cocktails. One staff member didn’t understand the hotels own drinks menu and didn’t understand the word Vodka even when pointed to on the menu but fully understood when other guest who weren’t Western.

  The Watson Premium Hotel is in good location, very near the port where the Ha Long Bay Tour commence. They have good selection of food for breakfast altho we find almost the same set of dishes the following day (we stayed 3D2N only) except for the pork dish that has been replaced with chicken. Still, it is still great. Clean and big bedroom. And most of all, staff is great! Shout out to Jenny, who took good care of us and our needs. As a first timer in Ha Long, she is our google on where to, how to and our need to.. she is just a message away and very willing to help. This hotel is budget friendly but has great amenities. Just hoping not to bump into a group of drunk guests with loud voices on the lobby or anywhere, that made the experience different on our first day. Otherwise, the hotel itself is doing a great job.
