  I was really curious, so I gave Anh Phong's sushis a try! It's a nice Japanese ambiance, and he was really friendly. As a Vietnamese overseas who is from 🇨🇦 and had ate a fair amount of 🍣, the sushis here are the best I've had in Hạ Long thus far. They are flavourful and so fresh—had no fishy aftertaste whatsoever. It was well worth the long walk to there! Notes: There is no menu. The chef-owner had served me whatever was available and surprised me. 😊

  The best sushi we have ever eaten! We asked the owner if he could prepare some things for us and it was just amazing!! We’ve been to quite a few places all over the world, but this one hits the top 5 for sure. Go there!!!

  These are by far the most delicious sushi I have ever tried. The chef was very friendly, and the place itself is so cozy, it was a wonderful experience. I was in a bad mood all day, but after this meal, I felt truly impressed and filled with positive energy🙌🏻

  An absolutely amazing experience. The chef prepared everything right in front of us using super fresh, high-quality ingredients, and each dish he brought out was better than the last. He was also incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the whole meal. Our recommendation: don’t order from the menu, ask the chef to surprise you. It was the best decision we made and made the whole experience unforgettable. If you’re in Ha Long Bay and love sushi, this place is a must-visit. Truly 10/10! 🍣✨

  Can agree with all the positive reviews! Best sushi I ever tasted and it was a one of a kind private dining-like experience. The price-quality for this experience is unmatched!! 😍 We were with the 4 of us and we all loved it. Eating here turned into our favourite memory of traveling Vietnam!!

  WOW is all I can say. This is a tiny unassuming restaurant with the best sushi. You getting a one on one experience with chef. There is no menu, you use his Facebook page to show him what you want to order or ask him to surprise you. He prepares everything fresh in front of you. It is so fresh and tasty, everyone in our group was suitable impressed with the quality. Definitely an experience you shouldn't miss. Thank you Chef Phong 👌

  OH MY GOD!!!!!!! Absolutely incredible fresh sushi made with love!!! Its a 2 table place. Chef Phong is welcoming and makes the sushi right in front of you. Its so fresh and melts in your mouth. I am in Ha Long for a month and will Absolutely be back to enjoy this sushi.

  Immaculate. Was surprised this place had such good reviews, but all were accurate. Me and my dad went, one guy runs a small shop that holds up to 8 people, he said most locals just get take out. He’s so friendly and the food was amazing. We got a lot of salmon with was maybe the BEST I’ve had in my life, he even cut the fresh fish he got shipped in from Japan right in-front of us. Mauro, Unagi, and O-Toro were all so delicious. I wish I could come back, please come try it out!
