  I ordered Chicken Dosa and Paneer Masala with Cheese Garlic Butter Naan — and honestly, I haven’t had such delicious food even in India! Crisp to perfection, flavours spot on, and not oily at all. It was exactly the comforting meal I was craving. For anyone missing home and looking for authentic vegetarian options after exploring local food — this is the place to go!

  Though its pricey, the food served here is amazing, tasty and very good portion. The service is also prompt and fast. We have eaten here and also got food delivered. Nice place for good Indian halal food if you are willing to spend more.

  When you couldn’t possibly eat one more banh mi get down to Vanakkam Indian restaurant. Best Indian I have had. Not just in Vietnam but all of Southeast Asia. Perfectly spiced to the level we asked for. Flavorful and plentiful. Couldn’t finish it so they bagged the rest up for us. Really is a hidden gem ( 4th floor of an unassuming building just out of town ). Well worth a visit.

  Amazing food! What a gem in Ha Long Bay! We were getting tired of Vietnamese food and this place was like a breath of fresh air for us. Lovely staff! We ordered a lot of food as we wanted to have a lot of it as takeaway. The chef came out and warned us that it is too much food for the 3 of us, but then we told him we have the capacity to eat it or else will have it as takeaway. Very attentive waitress too. Super delicious food. Definitely thankful for the existence of this place. Wish we have stayed longer time in Ha Long Bay so we could visit it again. AC was on - highly appreciated.

  Wonderful Indian restaurant here in Halong! I’d been eating Vietnamese food all week long so wanted a break from all that, glad I came across this place. The staff was attentive & the food was quite good. I’d say my favorite was definitely the Afghani kebab, such a great flavor to it. I’d come back just for that & the green chili naan (naan was soft & tasty). I’d say the chicken 65 is more Asian-style than the typical chicken 65 I’ve had. And the noodles were good but wouldn’t say it’s something I’d get again. Overall, the food was great!

  Well this I must say was one of my favourite Indian restaurants in whole of Vietnam. We dined in here several times during our stay at Ha Long Bay. We loved the North Indian food served at Vanakkam. The North Indian food here is authentically prepared. We had a lot of food here. Their Subzi and Bread were outstanding. Kanda Bhajji also stood out and a must try here is the Kathi Roll. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant during your trip to ha long bay.
