  Wow, such a lovely place to stay! They extended my check out by 4 hours as I was unwell, sorted out a boat trip and transport to our next location and the breakfast was amazing!! Laundry service was excellent, done within 12 hours and very clean, highly recommend staying here, such a lovely and friendly atmosphere :)

  We really enjoyed our sta at Kims! He was very helpful and sweet. The reception is open 24hrs a day, so we could even check-in at 5 in the morning after a long bus ride. Would really recommend this place!

  We arrived in Ha Long at 4am as a huge group with nowhere to stay and Kim welcomed us in straight away like we were old friends. From the moment we got there, he made everything easy. He did all of our laundry, organized an amazing Ha Long Bay cruise, arranged our shuttle back to Hanoi airport, took us out for dinner, played pickleball with us, and showed us the best night out in town. Kim’s English is perfect and he’s one of kindest people I’ve met while traveling. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he was always happy to help with whatever we needed. He genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time and went above and beyond every single day. I’ve been traveling around Asia for the last month and this was easily my favorite stay. Kim felt more like a friend than a host by the end of it. If you’re staying in Ha Long, stay with Kim. You won’t regret it.

  Such a great place and great, very helpful and kind owners. Homestay is in very good condition also super clean. Great value for money. Thank you for your help with arranging my further journey. Much appreciated🙏 I highly recommend this place to everybody!

  I cannot recommend Kim enough. My partner and I didn’t stay at the home stay, we went to do laundry but walked away with so much from Kim. We told him that we wanted to go to Cat Ba island but didn’t know how to get there but Kim explained to us how and we hired a scooter out from him & had the best couple of days. His partner helped book us on an overnight bus to Ha Giang and Kim, very last minute, got us on a Ha Giang loop tour the next day. We were having issues with our cards when we were trying to pay for the Ha Giang loop tour but Kim just let us pay a cash deposit and sort the rest out when we got to Ha Giang (the tour itself was incredible!). Kim’s partner also went out of her way to buy my partner and I bahn mis to take on the overnight bus with us because she was worried we would get hungry. Absolutely lovely people!

  Fantastic place. It was quiet (January). Super friendly host. We had great time talking. Their son is very funny. There is a hill top view about 20min of walk from the homestay. I also rented a scooter. 180k. Thomas was very flexible.

  Food is ok. Location is like climbing a mountain, it's elevated and entrance needs to climbed a stairs. I don't think the change beddings every other client. If you give need extra services from them that they get commission they are friendly, but if not, nope.
