We rented an apartment at the Ramada for a month and were impressed. The top-notch service, excellent location, comfortable rooms, and impeccable cleanliness made for an unforgettable stay. The Ramada hotel is an excellent choice for those who appreciate comfort and high-quality service. I would like to express special thanks to the manager, Vanessa, who provided us with exceptional service during our stay. Her attentive and friendly attitude created an atmosphere of true hospitality. Thank you very much!

If you are travelling budget with the family than this is the place 2 bedroom apartment with the facilities induction if u wish u can cook as well. As we got a 23rd floor room in A block had the views of Halong and bai chi area from the apartment. The area is of localite hence you will get regular like vegetable and fruit market grocery ATM but near by market not much touristic stuff. Language will be a barrier when trying to communicate with the local people. The rates for the kind of apartment are too good but its just bit far off hence u need to book a grab to move around.

We stayed there in a suite. The room was very spacious however there are certain parts of the area that are locked from access. The lobby was, and still is, very spacious and depending on your booking, you can have breakfast in the restaurant. There are pools on both the 2nd floor (indoor) and on the 33rd floor (top pool) that gives you a very nice panoramic view of the whole Ha Long. However, do note that the pools only operate at a certain time frames from 1000H-1200H in the morning and 1500-1900H in the evening. The reason why I couldn't give them the whole 5 stars was because the laundry service was so bad. We sent our laundry and specified for it to be folded properly. Our apparels were returned a couple of days later than intended with some items missing. Emailed them about the missing shirt I had and they had it mailed the next day but charged us. Told them about the bad service and they at least promised us for a reimbursement. Good thing the receptionist Le Tan was nice enough to accommodate us through the process. Too bad we didn't see her when we checked out. Tl;dr: reception is nice. The place is clean PS: Like and Follow.

I’ve stayed at 12-13 Wyndham properties including my family’s timeshare in the USA. Not in the category of Hyatt or four seasons but a decent solid 4.5 star brand. This brought Wyndham way down. |We are two months into a year touring 6 Asian countries with two kids and what is most important at your hotel when you travel with kids? A pool, good food, and television but here there was no working pool or television although we had three older working non smart tvs in the suite. we were told they have not worked for a long time. The pool also told it’s inoperable and closed for a long time. Food, well one thing you get at every Wyndham property I have stayed at worldwide since I left the states in 2010 is a satisfying breakfast buffet. Usually we don’t eat again till 2pm or until dinner after that delicious breakfast buffet but guess what? No buffet here you get a choice of pho or a terrible western themed breakfast of uncooked bacon rubbery hotdogs imitation ham cold overcooked eggs and cold beans. The redeeming factor is yogurt and fresh fruit which is what we ate for breakfast for our four day stay. ||The problem with this place is it seems to be a 90% rental property for the locals not a hotel so it’s rundown unsafe and noisy till late at night. We were harassed by locals being pranked pounding and ringing the doorbell at all hours and after calling security for two days with no results it resulted with me getting physical with four late teen early twenty something locals at the elevator where they hid and if my wife didn’t come out to stop me I’d be in a Vietnamese jail right now. |Needless to say this property put a real damper on this side trip from our Hanoi condo. But there are some beautiful things to see in halong bay and some to avoid. ||Cruising Halong bay is really quite a sight to see the views at sunset were spectacular. Being on the water is the highlight but the stops along the way are a stupendous waste of time and money. You are herded like cattle from point A to point B all the while being overcharged for everything. We did a small board 6 hour trip with terrible food included, a speed boat side trip (extra charge) at the caves the stop at the island with a chance to lay on a 50 yard Long Beach with about 10,000 other tourist and a stop to trek up a steep hill to see a temple all of these stops are a real waste of time. |I was saddened to see a never ending stream of trash heading out to see on the return trip but with all the tourism I’m not surprised.|We also did a dinner cruise the day after with ambassador cruise line a dinner buffet with music dancing and fireworks it was great! the staff was very attentive and the events well planed went smoothly I think it lasted about 4 hours and sunset was spectacular |All in all the stay at Ramada by Wyndham Halong bay was the worst stay I’ve had in the last 15 years it met none of our expectations was dangerous and a huge letdown. Halong bay as well was underwhelming overcrowded and polluted. If you really must go stay near the harbour where there are plenty of restaurants and nice hotels. Avoid the beach or at least don’t go into the water it is full of plastic bags diapers and trash||. This is an example of the worst of Vietnam not the norm if you want to see this type of scenery try Ninh Binh it’s a clean halong with out the beach but it’s so beautiful and we stayed 6 days with a motorbike there is plenty to do each sight more breathtaking than the other.

My family and I came to Vietnam in June 2022 for holiday. We stayed in the 3BR suite and it was fantastic. The staff is super helpful, the breakfast is INSANELY good, the pool was great, and the location is desirable. Perhaps the best thing in the neighborhood was "Love Drunkery" a cocktail bar a few blocks away. All four of us have worked in different types of bars and were blown away at the quality of the cocktails made by these young guys. The bar has a cool atmosphere too. Definitely check it out.||||If I was going to offer any tips to the hotel, it would be to add AC to your gym. You have one of the best hotel gym's we've seen in years, but it was a little warm. Otherwise a 10:10.

We stayed in a 2BR apartment, which was cosy, but adequate for our family of four. Having 2 bathrooms was great, and the A/C was lovely and cool. The kitchen only had 4 glasses, 2 coffee cups, some tea/coffee, a kettle and a fridge, so not setup for any sort of self-catering.||Rooftop pool was well utilised by our family during the limited opening hours (closed during the middle of the day). Gym was well equipped but warm with no A/C or fans. We didn’t use the indoor pool, although it looked nice.||Restaurant was fine for breakfast - mix between set menu and buffet, depending on the day.||The staff were excellent. In the restaurant, Rosie was always helpful and happily shared ideas for planning our days. The hotel reception staff - in particular Ms. Nga and Ms. Thu, helped plan several activities, including booking massages, taxis, Ha Long Bay tour and airport transfer on arrival, and transfer to Hanoi on our behalf.||Overall we were very happy with our stay.

The RAMADA by Wyndham Ha Long hotel truly serves as an exquisite haven to admire the subtle beauty of the Bai Chay Ha Long Bridge. With its prime location, my family and I had a memorable week-long stay. From our room, we could marvel at the panoramic view of Bai Chay Bridge, where the beauty harmoniously blends tradition and modernity.||It's not just about the beauty but also the convenience and favorable location of the hotel. Loong Toong Market is just a few steps away, opening up a diverse world of culinary delights with hundreds of Vietnamese dishes, from specialties to popular ones, all reasonably priced. We truly enjoyed every meal and experienced the richness of local cuisine.||The hotel's service is not just accommodation; it's a fantastic experience. The staff is enthusiastic, attentive, making us feel right at home. Exploring the region through a food tour helped us better understand the unique culture of Ha Long. The RAMADA by Wyndham Ha Long hotel is truly an ideal place to enjoy a comfortable space and discover extraordinary experiences.

The place needs some TLC. It is for the price you pay, but the place isn’t family friendly. We stayed here for the Halong Bay tour. The receptionists are helpful and friendly. The prices of things in and around hotel are ok. There is a small convenience store in the lobby - it is practical. The breakfast options are very limited.
