  Very good hotel. Inexpensive and as described. The hotel had a good breakfast, including fruit, club sandwich, bacon, omelette, coffee, tea. There was also rice and noodles. There was a jacuzzi on the roof terrace, which was filled on request. There was no additional charge for this. You could also rent a bicycle or scooter from the hotel for an additional price. The hotel was located in a quiet area near the beach. Shops and restaurants were a bit far, but within walking distance.

  The service provided was good , rooms were decent . The breakfast was bad . They mentioned buffet breakfast but there was no buffet, most of it ( barely few options) was on order expect for coffee , fruits and juice. Area of stay is quiet and clean ,

  Very poor location. We checked in around 6pm and told that the rooftop hot tub was only open between 7-9pm and you need to let them know an hour before. There is NOTHING open nearby. We walked 25 minutes to the nearest restaurant that was open and all the hotels and everything was closed! No point staying here at all, nothing to do/see. Go straight to Cat Ba and don't stay here. Nice hotel staff and lovely room and good value for the actual room but in the middle of nowhere so can't give it any higher stars!

  Nice rooms in the fake part of Halong bay…new quarter that represents something European which is usual in Vietnam. The rooms are pretty nice, staff is friendly but they just don’t speak English. They receive low raising because of the very poor breakfast that has very very limited vegetarian options. The location is literally “in the middle of nothing” - a ghost town between the main town parts, so consider a taxi, rent a motorcycle (very expensive)or long walk in case that you will stay here.

  Knocking down 2 stars for— 1. Sloppy cleaning. When we first checked-in the room is filled with stains and marks on glass and mirrors and was clean in a very sloppy way. The bathrobes were not wash. Picture attached. 2. Its super noisy at night even on weekdays due to nearby clubs’ music. Otherwise price is good for the well-designed facility.

  The interior is okay. You have everything you need and it does not look awful. Most of the staff are friendly. One crew member told us we were „wasting his time“ when asking something via a phone number we were given on the reception. Not many vegetarian options for breakfast, no ingredients or names of dishes on the buffet. The coffee on the buffet was cold. A good point was the opportunity of freshly made egg dishes. The windows of the room were covered with a plastic film so you could not see through them. This is a good idea to prevent people running around on the shared balcony right in front of our room from looking inside but you could also not look outside from the room. Also the room smelled like fish, the smell came through the AC. I think there are better options for that price in the area.

Staff so friendly espcially Mr. Phu the bell guy. Always support us any time we need. |Breakfast so yummy with the menu change each day. |Will be back soôn.

  I stayed in this hotel almost every week ( every Monday). All I can say is that this hotel is the best in Bai Chay area in Halong City. The hotel is clean, the location is very private out from those annoying noise of the street. Price is so reasonable. The staff is so friendly and very accommodating. I commend Mr. Duc the very kind and very professional receptionist. He knows how to handle situations when it comes to dealing with the guest. And the hotel never disappoints me for every special request I make like having extra pillows every time we stay. Probably our favorite hotel. Thank you Secret Halong. Hoping they can put on their own restaurant so no need for us to go anywhere. They have free breakfast also. We will keep on staying to this hotel.
