  The trip was great, we really enjoyed it. We were on a 6-hour trip during which we saw a lot of beautiful places, and visited Sun Got cave, Titop island. There was also the option of kayaks in the trip. I recommend :)

  We booked a private boat trip in Ha Long Bay and really enjoyed the experience. The scenery is stunning, and seeing the bay from the water is truly special. The boat itself is very large—not luxurious, but spacious enough and perfectly fine for a day trip. What made it especially nice was having it all to ourselves, so we didn’t need to wait for anyone else and could relax with our 2-year-old without worrying about other passengers. The crew on board was polite, with the captain standing out as particularly friendly and attentive. He made sure we reached the right places at the right time. Everything was well organized for us, from visiting the caves to the bamboo boat ride. Si, who arranged the trip, speaks excellent English and handled everything smoothly and professionally. A small tip for families with young children: bring a carrier for the cave visit, as it makes the walk much easier. Overall, a very good way to experience Ha Long Bay privately and at our own pace.

  Our hotel recommended Si (I wish I remembered his last name) as a guide for our stay. He was fantastic. Among other adventures, including motorbike and speed boat tours, he connected us with this boat tour. It was excellent. It's a fine boat, and the food was terrific. Incidentally, I highly recommend Si as a guide. I thought we'd use him for just one day, but we ended up using him for three. He's extremely knowledgeable, speaks English well, and is an enjoyable and engaging companion. He even got us a driver to the Hanoi airport for about half of what the hotel would have charged.

  Ha Long Bay is famous for cruises… and many are available to choose from. Costs and quality varies. What makes Halong Boat Tour stand out is Si, the owner operator. He takes such care and consideration of all those traveling! He makes the cruise and the visit to Ha Long Bay worthwhile! Many come in for a cruise and leave quickly thereafter- but they miss the culture and people of Ha Long which is by far the best the part of Ha Long Bay. If you’re planning a trip- give yourself a day before one after to stay in the city. Don’t stay where the tourists are- stay and eat where the locals live! Si lives in Ha Long with his family and is passionate about it the area and the growth. He’s also connected and knows everyone! He knows where to eat, what places make the best food and where to find rare treats and souvenirs. His service and communication style are phenomenal! If you are thinking about Ha Long Bay - call him first so he can help you make the experience memorable.

  We had the pleasure of chartering the “Light Cruise” with Si and his staff. It was a once in a life time experience! Si and his staff are incredibly accommodating, allowing us to customize our day, passing up On the crowded spots and showed us smaller, more intimate areas off the beaten track. Lunch was a gourmet experience with fried fish, prawn, baby clams and delicious salads and stir fries. It was a wonderful way to see Ha Long Bay with the perfect tour guides. Thank you Si!!

  I booked a private boat for just two people four hours and to my surprise we had a massive beautiful boat all to ourselves that was large enough for 48 people. The whole experience from the boat itself, our incredible guide, the service, the cave excursion and the bamboo boat was worth every priceless view of the bay topped off with a fantastic dinner for two and the beautiful postcard worthy sunset. I will do this again and bring more people and for 8 hours.
