Amazing day on Luna Halong Cruise! The ship is beautiful and elegant with luxury interiors. The seafood buffet was super delicious and the tea time was amazing too. They even provided special services on request. Great service and worth every penny for a day trip - highly recommended!

Beautiful area. Most exotic looking place in the world. Over 17000 islands. Clean City friendly people. Good shopping. Great local tours. Food is exceptional.

We did the one day cruise so can’t comment on the rooms. The ship was nice enough, clean, spacious, modern. Staff were friendly, helpful. The tours were good, but a bit rushed (45 min). The buffet lunch was excellent. Overall good value for money and everyone had a great time!

A Cloudy humid day means you don’t get to see the amazing islands - so disappointing ! Big glitzy 4 storey boat - we were looking for a smaller more authentic experience - so blame the agent , not the cruise line . Staff were good and food offered a big selection - buffet style and there was plenty . Coffee was terrible and you had to pay extra for it ( suspect the machine wasn’t clean and barista inexperienced ) . The large Sung Sot cave visit was well worth experiencing ( busy though )- but the other 2 stops Titop Island and Luon cave were shocking examples of poor mass tourism - offering little and even charging extra to wear a dirty life jacket and be rowed under a cave bridge to circle a small basin surrounded by rock and monkeys being fed by throwing food from the boats . Think long and hard as to whether you want this type of experience !

The cruise ship looks nice but feels small, with most areas closed off. Excursions are interesting but rushed, leaving little time to enjoy. Staff seem unprofessional, only attentive if you’re buying something. I was shocked when they refused a second glass of lime water (one per guest) and denied access to a bathroom, claiming it was employee-only. Live music was bland – just a violin with a backing track. They started cleaning the pool area while guests were still there, a couple of hours prior to arrival. The food was the only highlight, with varied, tasty options. Overall, it’s overpriced and feels cheap, with constant upcharges and weak service. I’d rather pay more upfront for a hassle-free experience. Not worth it, and definitely not a premium 5-star cruise as they present themselves.

Our family visited on April 9, and everything was good until the buffet. Unfortunately, it was very disorganized. There was no clear line, and many people did not queue properly. They cut in midway while others, including us, were waiting. At one point, someone even pushed under my dad's arm to grab food. We shared this feedback with staff, but it didn’t seem to be taken seriously. One staff member reassured us there would be enough food, yet when I returned for dessert, everything was gone. When I asked, I was simply told there was no more available. At the end of the trip, while waiting for the shuttle bus, we were at the front of the line. However, when the bus arrived, the tour staff( a girl) prioritized another group instead. We raised this concern as well, but it was again ignored. I understand that there are many international visitors now, but these issues must be addressed. It felt as though some guests were being treated unfairly compared to others.

Absolutely the WORST cruise experience I have ever had in my life. I am extremely angry, frustrated, and disappointed with Luna Halong Cruise. We woke up at 4.30am and spent 3 exhausting hours traveling to Halong without even having breakfast, only to be taken to a souvenir shop first and forced to waste another 20 minutes there before finally arriving at the port. From the very beginning, it already felt like this company only cared about squeezing money from tourists. We paid 2 MILLION VND expecting a proper luxury cruise experience, but what we got was shocking and unacceptable. After boarding this huge so-called “luxury” cruise ship, we were given only ONE glass of water and absolutely nothing else afterwards. No breakfast, no complimentary drinks, not even basic plain drinking water. We were left hungry and thirsty for HOURS. The food was only available at 12pm, and after waiting that long, the meal was unbelievably disappointing. There were only around six simple dishes served, nothing luxurious, nothing special, and definitely nowhere near worth the price we paid. To make things even worse, the cleanliness standard was terrible. The moment we arrived at our table, there was still a spoon left behind from the previous guest. That was honestly disgusting and completely unacceptable for a cruise claiming to be “luxury.” It immediately made us question the hygiene and how poorly everything was being managed. EVERY single drink had to be paid separately, and unbelievably, they could not even provide basic tissues for guests. A cruise charging this kind of money but refusing to provide simple necessities like water and tissues is absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing. This entire experience felt greedy, cheap, badly managed, and completely disrespectful to customers. The advertising and reality are completely different. I honestly feel cheated and scammed by this so-called “luxury” cruise. It completely ruined the experience for us, and I would never recommend Luna Halong Cruise to anyone. Save your money and avoid this place unless you want to leave angry, hungry, thirsty, and disappointed.
