  I spent a wonderful time, the room has space, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel is great and easy to access. Highly recommend it 🙌🏽

  Last week i have a friend who will travel to Vietnam for a visit. He asked which hotel he should choose so i told him about this place, he stayed for a week and before he went back to England he told me he likes this hotel. Its nice and cozy, the service is amazing as well in his opinion. From now on whenever i have a friend from different country wanna have a place to stay during the visit, i would always recommended this hotel

  The superior bedroom was exactly as pictured on pagoda. Its spacious room equipped with a table, TV and sofa. The bathroom was quite big, clean and hit water actually works as most places dont! Quite a large bed and comfortable mattress along with the additional vietnamese long pillow which was cute. Great location, this hotel is super big! It has 2 facing and next to the markets, plenty of restaurants and street vendors, next door to coffee shops, walking distance to the pier. Amazing view of the sunset. Its not noisy considered in the location. Though, the noise is from the swiftlets! Would stay again.

  I stayed here for a night before crossing the border to Cambodia. Since there was some confusion with another hotel a block away with the same name, I asked to see the room before settling. The room was decent sized with a window giving you a pretty nice view of the river. After taking the key, I realized that the air con was not working well. So, went downstairs and asked to change the room. The new room was on the 5th floor and the a/c worked fine. WiFi was strong in the room and pretty good water pressure in the bathroom. The TV even had CNN and other channels! ||||For 300,000 VNDs, it was a clean and comfortable enough place to rest and move on the next day. The receptionist spoke very little English. So before taking the room, check that everything is functioning. Especially the a/c.

  Had to stay one night in Ha Tien before crossing into Cambodia. Reading the earlier reviews, we figured this was going to be ok for one night. We were wrong. ||||The windowless room was hot, claustrophobic and dirty. Opted for the "VIP" room that at least had windows and looked reasonably clean. Bed was hard as a rock (and we have stayed in many SEA rooms with the thin mattress but none as bad as this), bathroom mouldy and no hot water, window opens onto a sort of balcony that anyone in the hallway can access and the locks were broken (of course there is no safe in the room) so did not feel safe at all. The birds nesting on the roof were our 5AM wake up call, very very noisy. We cranked the A/C as far as it would go to 17 C and full fan, but barely dented the heat in the room even leaving it on overnight. I would say it never got below 26-27 C.|| ||To top it all off, the visa machine was "broken" from the time we checked in until we checked out, so had to pay cash. The desk man then ripped us off by not using the posted exchange rate for US$ when we could not come up with enough Dong.||||Needless to say, we will never be back and would not recommend anyone to stay here.

  Hotel rooms have a good size with shower and toilet. Beds are hard and the room we stayed in wasn't very clean. Ha Tien isn't just a very pleasant place to stay, but of course that is not something the hotel people can do anything about. Hotel is OK for when you have to spend the night in Ha Tien. Just make sure you don't book bustickets at Ha Tien Mekong Tourism. They charge $10 per busticket and then put you in the communal bus, they mentioned the bus ride would take about 5 hours to Can Tho. We ended up sitting in a very hot bus for almost 8 hours with no A/C and no stops anywhere to go to the toilet or buy some food or drinks. On top of that, the busdriver of our bus was an insane driver. After a few weeks of traveling through Vietnam you will get the hang of the traffic. But this guy probably forgot he had some people in the bus he was responsible for.

  Have to agree generally with previous reviewer (dawnvip) about the Du Hung Hotel 2.||||Only stayed here because Du Hung 1 down the road is currently under renovation. ||||Main complaints were the constant cacophony of bird sounds which permeated the hotel 24 hours per day and the air conditioning which seemed to have little effect on the room temperature, even when adjusted to 17°C and maximum fan !||||English spoken at the reception was limited but they did try to assist and will offer discounts if staying for more than a couple of nights. The room was serviced daily.||||On the positive side, however, the rooms are large and spacious and the shower delivers a good pressure with plenty of hot water. Wi Fi signal in the room was very good.||||The mattress was quite firm. OK for me, but some may find too hard (not uncommon in Vietnam though).||||There is a plaque at the entrance stating this to be an official 2 star hotel.||||I would not disagree with that rating.

  Unfortunately this was our least favourite of the places we stayed on our one month trip. The room sizes are good, the bathroom ok, and its clean. However, when we stayed in late January the building next door was being renovated and the room we were offered literally had people banging directly onto the wall (looks like it will be that way for a long time yet). We insisted on moving to a room on the other side of the building, but were amazed that they thought this first room could ever be acceptable. The new room was quiet,but the hot water wasn't working. To be fair, it did get fixed pretty quickly after we pointed it out (not easy as English levels for the reception staff are low) but we were left feeling the place lacked attention to detail and wasn't very friendly.
