Visited this shop with my family on 10th January 2026 and had a great experience. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. What truly impressed me the most, though, was the honesty and effort of the staff. I accidentally dropped my wallet, and a staff member found it and went out of his way to reach me and return it. Everything was intact — including the money and some very important papers. He genuinely saved the day, and I’m extremely grateful. Hats off to the team for having such trustworthy and caring staff. Highly recommended!

Visited this location for coffee as we were staying across the street. Didn’t stay here but if the rooms are anything like the lobby I’m sure they’re great. I got corn coffee and my lady got the Biscoff coffee. Both were amazing. The prices are up there but worth the quality. The service was very professional and kind. Seating inside is amazing, worth the coffee stop.

I have been a loyal customer of this shop for a very long time. I love all the branches—they are beautiful and full of natural light. Recently, I forgot my personal bottle at the shop. After two days, I realized it and went back to ask the staff. They immediately gave it back to me and even cleaned it for me. I really appreciate it.

Beautifully designed cafe that's clean, airy, full of greenery and spacious. Lots of variety of seating across 3 floors. Staff were also more polite and attentive than other places I visited in this area. I wished I'd brought my laptop so I'd have an excuse to enjoy the atmosphere for longer. A wonderful surprise and an oasis in Haiphong.

Great cafe with good design inside. Most popular place in Hai Phong so it can get crowded in the weekends but their desserts are quite good!

Really lovely café with beautiful decor, love the greenery hanging from the ceiling. They also sell local souvenirs and products from young Vietnamese artists which is a nice touch. A great spot to sit, have a coffee and pick up something unique to take home!

While this coffee shop is spacious and may provide a good atmosphere for a group, the quality of the coffee is disappointing, both in terms of taste and quantity. In fact, a small cup doesn't even reach half its capacity, which is ridiculous considering the steep price, also taking into account they don't even offer complimentary tea, or even a small glass of filtered water. The WiFi network offers mediocre performance, fluctuating latency, and the captive portal limits connectivity options. I also had to clean the table myself before using my laptop because it was noticeably dirty.

I visited No.1986 Cafe because it is well known among tourists, but unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience. At first, we ordered only an Iced Americano and an Iced Matcha Latte. The total was 135,000 VND, and I paid 205,000 VND. At that point, the payment process had not yet been completed. While looking at the menu, I asked what the Coconut Americano was. My companion then decided to change the Americano to the Coconut Americano. We also looked at a slice of cake in the display case and discussed whether to order it. Before we had made a final decision, the cashier had already added the cake to our order. The cashier then asked us to pay more because the cake and the Coconut Americano had been added. We immediately said that we did not want the cake and only wanted one coffee. However, the cashier insisted that the cake could not be canceled because the order had already been entered into the system. This made no sense. We had not received any drinks. We had not received the cake. The payment had not been completed. We had not even received our change yet. Even more confusing, the Coconut Americano could be canceled, but the cake could not. How can a coffee be canceled while an untouched cake still sitting in the display case cannot? After I continued to question this unreasonable policy, the cashier finally canceled the cake. This made the earlier claim that cancellation was impossible even harder to understand. The issue was never about 65,000 VND. It was about fairness and customer service. Customers should be allowed to change or cancel an order before they have received any food or drinks and before payment has been finalized. Another disappointment was the Americano itself. It had a noticeable mold-like aftertaste. At first I thought it might just be my imagination, but after several sips I was convinced that something was wrong. The café has a beautiful interior and is very photogenic, but good customer service and coffee quality are much more important than decoration. I hope the management reviews both their order cancellation policy and their quality control.Never give money to foreigners first!
