I got rushed to the VinMec ER with a severe stomach infection and had to spend the night. The facilities were very clean, doctors were knowledgeable and very professional, as were all the nurses and staff. Very few of the staff spoke any English, but they did have an on site translator who was extremely helpful and professional. However, when the translator wasn’t around, communication was challenging and mostly done through Google translate. The hospital also had good food & free wifi! The total cost of my stay was very affordable and they worked seamlessly with my travel insurance to get the billing sorted out. The nurses administered my medicine regularly and were always nearby if any issues arose. It’s never pleasant to spend time in an ER, but I felt safe and taken care of at the hospital!

I can highly recommend this hospital to international travelers. I needed immediate medical attention due to a monkey bite and was treated immediately and with greatest care. They speak a little bit English but also call for a translator who supports you to understand everything the doctor says. I needed the special rabies immunoglobulin vaccine and they have it. Additionally, the clinic seems very good organized. I got all the papers need, even a contact in case I need additional documents for my insurance. The inhouse pharmacy is also very good. You can pay with credit card without any problem. Also they informed me upfront about the costs. And to put the cherry on top, they supported me via email to find another place to get my next rabies shot so I can continue my travels. (If you need mobile vaccination in Vietnam check VNVC) Thanks to the doctor, team and staff at Vinmec Hai Phong International hospital. You made my day yesterday.

Exceptional. We were seen within minutes, were accopanied by a translator at all time and overall care was very good - and very cheap for western standards.

This is our family’s go-to place for health check-ups every time we visit Vietnam. The hospital is very clean and well-organized. From the security guards to the receptionists, nurses, and doctors, everyone is friendly and professional. The equipment is modern, and the doctors are knowledgeable with experience from top hospitals. They also offer translation services if needed, which is super helpful. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this hospital. The staff clearly knows what they're doing. Both the Drs and RNs are enthusiastic about their work and possess exceptional clinical skills. Some nurses speak a bit of English, and there's a translator available on-site. I come from Australia and have been suffering from chronic GORD for over a decade. My condition worsened 5 years ago, leading to chronic gastritis. Subsequently, I discovered that I also have large hiatal hernia. After my Specialist refused to perform the necessary surgery back home, my husband and I sought a second opinion at the VinMec International Hospital where we met Dr Vu Van Quan. A massive thank you to Dr Quan, his team, and the nursing staff for their exceptional care and support during our time at the hospital. They conducted all the appropriate medical tests before and after the surgery, providing us with clear explanations and reassurance throughout the process. With their skills and commitment, I feel optimistic about my recovery moving forward.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Nurse Hoàng Thị Thanh for the wonderful care she provided to my child. We had just returned from overseas, and my child received very attentive and dedicated support from the medical team. Nurse Thanh was especially kind and professional—she carefully guided us on how to pat my child’s back properly and how to administer the medication effectively. Her patience, warmth, and clear instructions made a difficult time much easier for our family. We truly appreciate her compassion and commitment. Thank you so much for your excellent care.

Had to be taken here after a freak accident at the market. Hands down the best hospital I've ever been to (and I'm from NY!). Very, very clean, airy, bright, and I don't know how they do it but there's barely that hospital smell. The BEST part is the staff. Oh man, they treated me like family, even when they weren't the ones taking care of me they stopped by to check on me and feed me (the food here is AMAZING!). I never expected to say this, but I loved it. It was so peaceful, I could sleep without hearing other patients, the staff or noise. It's like the entire place went into quiet mode from 10 pm to 8 am. The staff are competent and caring. And you get top notch care. It is expensive, but worth it!
