  I really enjoyed staying in this Hostel. The daily free beer at 7pm allowed for lots of social contact and I met the most amazing people! The staff was amazing and really helpful with anything I needed. The location is central and you can walk anywhere you need to. The private room was really spacious and some some noise from the street must be accepted if you are located centrally. Unfortunately the laundry service was not ideal as the laundry smelled good but not clean.

  My stay at The Oversleep Catba Hostel has been my best hostel experience in Vietnam so far. The facilities are great and the staff are very helpful. It has a great pool and that is good for food, drinks and meeting people but it’s not a party hostel.

  We had a really great time at this hostel, especially thanks to the host who were really nice and had the best advices to visit the island and the bay. The rooms were big and clean, same for bathrooms, and the food and drinks (+ next to the swimming pool) were really good too. I can only recommend !

  Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff at the counter were really lovey and helpful. We were able to check in earlier than scheduled and were met with clean and comfortable rooms just as advertised. Had a lazy day at the pool virtually all to ourselves. Recommended for everyone.

  Brilliant hostel/hotel. The people who stay here are super friendly, the rooms/bathrooms are cleaned everyday. Beds have curtains, sociable on the evenings but not too late :) Pa Pa is an amazing host!!!! So sweet &kind. The receptionists are super friendly and happy to help with any needs. Highly recommend 🥰

  Awesome hostel, super social in the pool area, not a party space but definitely great fun. Private room was really nice and spacious, great AC. Dorms were also really nice, modern and well equipped. Highly recommend

  Affordable. Wifi was reliable. Free beer everyday from 7pm-7:30pm was nice. I highly recommend ordering the beef in pepper sauce if you eat there. But there are some areas where they could improve. The water in the pool was very cloudy like they hadn't cleaned it in a long time. In the 4 days that I stayed, the water remained opaque. I wouldn't order pho in the restaurant. I ordered the chicken pho for breakfast and was highly disappointed. They served it with instant noodles and cabbage, two ingredients I've never seen in chicken pho or any pho. It was kind of insulting that they served that. I'm certain they would never serve that to Vietnamese people. They think foreigners don't know better. The TV in the room had some sort of restrictions within the settings that blocked apps from functioning. Both Netflix and YouTube didn't work. The TV was there for decoration because it was completely useless. I told two different receptionists about the issues with the TV. Both said they'd send someone to look at it. They never did. They never offered any explanations or solutions either. I guess they were hoping I'd just forget about it. Easy things to fix if they cared to.

  Great service, good amount of space in the rooms, and the hostel is really helpful with booking tours to ha long bay through them etc, would definitely recommend! Amazing price too, an location right in the centre of the shops :)
