  Very good location and the hotel staff are lovely and helpful! We really enjoyed our stay here, we even extended it. They have a nice breakfast and the restaurant downstairs was also very good. They have gorgeous cats! We also did two of the tours advertised by the hotel (1 day cruise and bioluminescent plankton tour) and enjoyed both. Would definitely return here.

  We loved our stay here! The rooms are so comfortable and the breakfast included was lovely! Easily can walk to a lot of shops and restaurants. Workers were really kind! Can’t ask for more :)

  Great, simple stay in Cat Ba. I stayed with my mother here for 3 nights and the room was very clean and comfortable, fresh towels and bottled water every day and a lovely breakfast to start the day too. Perfect! Would absolutely recommend to stay here and would stay here again. Thanks 🙏

  Amazingly kind and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfast and very clean, excellent air quality with absolutely no musty smell at all (Cat Ba Island is very humid and most other hotels smell musty or moldy, but Cat Ba Green Hotel was fantastic).

  The rooms at Cat Ba Green Hotel are very clean, the breakfast was outstanding and the price made us pinch ourselves to make sure we weren’t dreaming how affordable it was! The staff was incredibly accommodating in helping us with any questions and even booking transportation. It’s located just up a short hill off the main strip. The AC in the two rooms we stayed in didn’t get too cool but overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it.

  I had a lovely stay here and would come again. The only reason for my four stars is that I deliberately booked as I was excited to try the vegan restaurant "Celery" but sadly it was shut, I'm not sure why. Rooms very clean, free water and toiletries topped up daily, bathroom had a shower with great pressure and temperature. Linens and towels in good condition. Bed was firm but not too firm, pillows fluffy and comfy. Nice lighting in the room with an easy to reach bedside lamp. Air con and fan available, both worked well. It was really peaceful and quiet day and night, occasionally a dog barking outside but that was it. My room faced the back and I had a view of other hotels and greenery. Breakfast pancakes and fruit was lovely with tea and/or coffee. Staff very welcoming and kind, asking me about my plans and travels. They offer tours and experiences that are very helpful for a good time in Cat Ba. I sadly missed getting my laundry in on time as I didn't realise it required dropping off so early, but I got it done locally instead. Staff let me store my luggage for the day after I checked out. I will come back here again, and would recommend it to anybody else.

  A quiet, clean and very comfortable room in a hotel with wonderful staff and management. It’s located in a quiet part of the island but close to everything that you might need including the extremely cheap electric vehicles to take you to the beach and other places, of your choice. The breakfast is extremely good with many items including eggs, pancakes and fruits. Warmly recommended.

  Excellent stay! The receptionist Ms Chu Thị Ðinh is super kinda helpful knowledgeable and speaks very good English. She arranged a lot of stuff for me and helped me when I got a bit sick. The room is nice too, but the restaurant below is vegan and has a menu in the room. As a carnivore I was confused for a bit but all good
