  We had a fantastic time at Paradise Hotel on Cát Bà Island. The hotel itself is beautiful clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Everything was well maintained and felt really welcoming from the moment we arrived. What truly made our stay unforgettable was our host Luffy. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed from organizing trips and transport to giving us great local recommendations and making our anniversary very special. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared that we enjoyed our time on the island. Thanks to him, everything went so smoothly, and we got to see the best of Cát Bà without any stress. We can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re visiting Cát Bà, definitely stay at Paradise Hotel and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet Luffy too!

  We stayed at Paradise Hotel for 2 nights. Everything about the stay was fantastic. The service provided by all staff was great and very helpful. During our stay Trang (nearly certain that was her name) watched out for us and was very kind. While planning we booked 2 tours through the Concierge team. Ae also asked them fkr help setting up our transfer to the island from Hanoi and to the Hai Phong airport. Every detail was meticuously planned for us. We used the rooftop pool and bar which was very convenient. We also had them wash and dry our clothes (for a small fee). The property is highly recommended.

  Nice Hotel. Great fitness room. Service lacking - don’t speak English. Buffet ok, but not exceptional. Pool nice. Smoking in the corridor, lots of noise from large groups. Very clearly for large Vietnamese groups and families. Cleaning ok, but don’t expect very clean. Nice wiew, but lots of building in front ongoing

  Well located hotel in Cat Ba. Super friendly staff, very nice breakfast. The sunset at the Sky Bar is really nice. Stayed on the 12th floor and although there is construction work across the street, the view is still nice. Ms. Trang was super helpful with tours and transportation arrangements, as well as friendly and welcoming. The furniture in the rooms may be a bit outdated but everything is well kept, functional and clean.

  What a mixed service. Went to the sky bar for happy hour and sunset and the staff were excellent, attentive, helpful and fun. Had a great evening which would have guaranteed a 5 star review. Popped back the next day for lunch and the 3 male members of staff were either lounging or sleeping on the sofas. When we asked about ordering food one pointed at the unmanned bar but no one made a move to help. After 10 minutes of being ignored we just walked out. This hotel used to have great views of the bay which have now been destroyed by the land reclamation and building works. Construction noise throughout the day. One to avoid during the day but worth the visit for sunset.

  ONLY GOOD THINGS.....The View. *Room was just avg for the price paid ($150 AUD/Night), bed was acceptable, poor pillows, bathroom was okay. *Gym equipment was acceptable - no air con, no towel, no water. *Breakfast - WORST I've had in 9 trips to Vietnam. Absolute bare minimum "buffet" with zero effort. *Staff - 1 person said hello to me in 5 days, reception staff never made an effort to communicate or welcome. Often saw people on phones or sitting on couch watching TV in the lobby. For $11,800,000VND I expected waaaay better standards, service & quality. Should've just stayed at Flamingo instead. Either lifts your standards, service & quality for the price you charge OR lower your prices and continue on.

  This hotel located centrally however is past its prime… the location is now fronted by the construction area / new community- as is the case for all the businesses along this stretch. The quality and service were poor. Absolutely no sound proofing, I could hear every cough of the neighbors. The floor above seemed to have a furniture moving party around 10:30-11:15pm. The phone in room did not work. Breakfast was tepid- literally…. The overall price to quality and service ratio was weak. Sorry to see this, however feel travelers deserve to be aware.

  The hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.
