  Cuong was really great at helping us book two more night at Flamingo. It was the week-end and he work really hard to get the room for us. Thank's Cuong for your help. We pass 8 night at Flamingo and it was really great.

  Had a great stay! We enjoyed the breakfast and the rooftop. When we checked out, Quyen messaged me on WhatsApp that I forgot something in my room. We are thankful that she let us know or else I would have lost it!

  Very nice and accommodating stay in tower 2. Fantastic outdoor pool and nice indoor. Good food at Sea La Vie Restaurant. Very clean, lots of plants. Skywalk very nice. Front desk personnel very helpful and English speaking. Skybar personal not English speaking and gin tonic came with extra charge for tonic. Fitness room large and nice machines. Very good experience.

  The pool area if building three is undergoing construction (the pictures on-line are clearly edited). There’s a small beach but it’s not great, dirty and smelly. There’s no ambience (music,drinks, food). You can order drinks from room service to the pool, but 45 minutes later no drinks. Not the place to be if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere.

  Honestly wish I could leave a better review for this place because it looked beautiful and most of the staff was lovely but, a few members of the staff were so adamant on me leaving them a review for absolutely nothing and that was very annoying and kind of made me sad because I know their salary is biased off of good reviews. Facilities were beautiful and clean bed was extremely hard but that’s been a reoccurrence with all of Vietnam so far. Onsen was wonderful and I loved it the women’s sauna and steam room were not working at the time so they offered me a 30 minute foot rub and that was lovely. Food was subpar but our waiter was fabulous and I just adored him. There was random very loud banging in the night and mornings it sounded like the elevator was falling down its shaft so that was odd. I did not feel extremely welcomed as a westerner but I get that we have a bad reputation so I tried not to get too offended. The absolute worst part was the other guests there, I felt most uncomfortable when surrounded by the guests and when being harassed to leave good reviews for everyone including the maids. Long winded but my honest opinion hope this helps anyone who’s looking for a real review! (Pictured is my sweet waiter and favorite member of the staff! I hope he gets many many blessings in this life and the next!!)

  Even Agoda has listings to book rooms with slightly different spelling of Flamingo Cat Ba Resort. If you book through one of these you are being scammed! Booked and paid, then when got to Resort there was no record of our booking. It took 1 hr of trying to contact people who weren’t there to understand the resort rents out some rooms to a 3rd party who then rents rooms out at higher price and with very little support and very poorly managed. When finally got a room after 2 hrs, room didn’t come with bedding, safe, had black mold in bathroom, didn’t have same meal access, and they made us change rooms after 1 night for a 3 night stay! Girls operating this scam kept on promising to fix things or meet us and then not arriving. While staff at actual Resort were very kind and helpful, it’s not clear why they allow these 3rd party scammers to operate, as it also damages the resorts name. |Resort is overall nice but noisy and crowded, so while beautiful setting, don’t expect peace and quiet.
