  Had a very pleasant lovely stay here for 2D1N this weekend. It was before the peak season at Cat Ba. Pretty crowded but the staffs are very professional and well trained to support guests promptly. The group had to wait a bit longer to get the room, which says the hotel is at high occupancy. But the room is quite amazing and had nice forest view. Shampoo and shower gel is good at moisturising. Morning buffet is served from 6.30 till 10.30 with wide range of food and cooked very well. There are some other facilities but we did not have much time. What a pity! I will have to comeback here soon! Lovely place!

  We had a fantastic time at the Sky Bar on the 17th floor! The staff were incredible they made the fantastic cocktails. They were very kind. Linh makes incredible Daiquiris and looked after us so well. They are also all very fun and allowed us to play our "classic tunes:. Fun times! They seem to like a dance too!

  We just got back from Flamingo Beach Resort and I can’t recommend it enough. The property itself is stunning — set right on the coast with that huge, sweeping view. What makes it stand out is the sheer range of amenities. There are multiple swimming pools for all ages, dedicated play areas for kids, a sky bridge that’s perfect for photos, and the sky top bar where you can watch the sunset over the bay with a drink in hand. The buffet breakfast spread was fantastic — huge variety, fresh, and they actually restock quickly so nothing ever runs out. But the real highlight is the private beach. Clean, calm, and you don’t have to fight for space. Our room was wonderful too — big, comfortable, and the balcony with the ocean view was the best place for morning coffee. Waking up to that view never got old. Special mention to Xuyen from the staff — she was of immense help through the entire planning and visit. She answered all our questions, gave great local info, and sorted our car bookings without any hassle. Having someone that responsive made the trip way smoother. If you’re heading to Cat Ba and want a resort that balances relaxation with things to do, Flamingo nails it. We’ll be back.

  🌸 A Hidden Gem at Flamingo Cat Ba Resort The Ruriken Onsen at Seva Spa inside the Flamingo Cat Ba Resort is truly a hidden gem worth indulging in. Modern and artistically designed, it offers a serene paradise to rejuvenate and relax. The Onsen features five baths, including a cold plunge, stream, and sauna. My personal favorite was the bath infused with a natural mineral mix sourced from the original Onsen in Gifu province, Central Japan—absolutely gorgeous and blissful. Service was outstanding. Mr. Tiên, the attendant, was attentive and helpful throughout. At reception, Ms. Thái An impressed me with her patience and deep knowledge of the facilities, even recommending superior spa facial services by the renowned French brand Ella Baché and excellent massage options. Ms. Hà Trang was gentle, understanding, and guided me seamlessly to the Onsen and pool features. Ms. Thúy provided wonderful coordination with the team. The manager, Mr. Tiến Dũng, clearly leads a strong, customer-focused team—teamwork at its finest. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this oasis called Seva Spa.   This is a place that makes me want to stay a long time. Beautiful views, delicious fresh food, luxurious hotel, and enthusiastic staff, especially Ms. Nguyễn Thùy Dương, who made me feel incredibly comfortable through our pleasant conversation. I will definitely come here many more times with my family and friends. I love Flamingo Cat Ba Resort, I love Vietnam!

  We had a very nice stay at this resort. I wanted to specifically acknowledge the good, kind and friendly service offered by the young lady named Ha in the Sea Restaurant Building 1 , 1st floor. She was a bright light. Always smiling and wanting to ensure we received the best of service. She is a gem!! We also had very good help from a young man named Vu who manages the Front Desk team in Bldg 2. He was also excellent. Thank you to the team at Flamingo Cat Ba.

  I recently stayed at Flamingo Cat Ba and, unfortunately, my experience was far below the standard I would expect from a property that promotes itself as a 5-star resort. During my stay in Building 1 ( Resident )I found the FO staff to be extremely unprofessional and discourteous. It appeared that guests who booked through apartment owners rather than directly through the hotel were treated differently and with less respect. Since this is a business model offered by the property itself, guests should never be made to feel inferior because of the booking channel they use. When my butler presented my ID for registration, the receptionist did not process it immediately. Instead, she continued writing, spent time on her phone, and then casually told my butler to "wait." As a front desk employee, assisting guests who are physically present should be the priority. If serving guests feels like an inconvenience, perhaps hospitality is not the right profession. Throughout my stay, the front desk team was consistently unfriendly. Almost every time I passed by the desk, staff members appeared focused on their phones rather than on guest service. When I asked for information about the room and available amenities, the first response I received was, "I don't know, ask your butler." While I understand that I could contact my butler, I found this response unacceptable. Front desk staff should be among the most knowledgeable employees in the hotel and should be able to provide basic information or at least make an effort to assist guests. The restaurant experience was not much better. Upon arrival, instead of being greeted warmly, I was asked for my room number in a rude manner and immediately told that I would not be allowed to enter without a breakfast card. A simple greeting and a polite explanation would have been far more appropriate. The most disappointing aspect of this stay was not the facilities themselves. In fact, the property is beautiful, and I had positive interactions with the housekeeping staff and drivers, who were friendly, helpful, and professional. The issue lies entirely with the service attitude of some front desk and restaurant employees. My group spent nearly 10 million VND on accommodation and services, which is by no means a small amount. In return, we expected professional hospitality, not indifference and disrespect. A 5-star hotel should be defined not only by its facilities but also by the quality of its service. Unfortunately, the service I experienced fell far below that standard.

  A great place with the most beautiful outlook - but missing the mark in service delivery.The views are spectacular and the room was very nice. Breakfast buffet was excellent. However, many of the pools and dining options were closed. Breakfast was wonderful, but there was one option for dinner. Đining outside the resort required a 20 minute walk or a paid shuttle or taxi.The shower set up in the bathroom was not practical.Staff had limited or no English and seemed very inexperienced.
