My wife and I patronized this restaurant/bar three times while we were staying in Cat Ba. Our host Jake, is an excellent bartender and suggested some the bars notable cocktail's. We tried the Popcorn cocktail as well as the Pho cocktail. Both are excellent but the Pho was unlike any I've ever had before. Jake actually showed us how the base for the cocktail is made and lets just say there were a lot of flames involved . We very much enjoyed our visits to the friendly environment of this establishment and would highly recommend to everyone. Two thumbs up. Cheers

The best food we have so far in all Asia! We tried the hot pot seafood, we were 2 and it was so gigant and amazing taste! You need to stop by if you are in cat ba for real

From first greeting to final goodbye we had a wonderful experience! We ordered the Pho cocktail (which was stunningly delicious), the clam soup, and the veggie curry. Both were flavorful and filing. Our server Duc was engaging and delightful to interact with. We are inspired to return! Yes, the staff kindly encourages guests to leave reviews, but that is common everywhere! This is an industry where reviews encourage people to give a place a try. I am gladly praising this bar and restaurant with my honest review 🫶

The food is very good but what is a must have it’s drinks. Great craft beer and amazing cocktails (the juices are also great). I recommend the 3 top drinks here, especially the Pho and Cöm Ha Noi (pic attached). So absolutely delicious and unique 💙 The bartender is a friendly professional that we loved to talk to.

We ate here more than once after experiencing great food and great service along with a very chill atmosphere. Order desert! We spent 5 nights in the area and this was my favorite spot for a meal.

We stayed on Cat Ba 4 nights and came here 4 times, so that tells you how much we enjoyed it here. The cocktails are outstanding, their liquor selection is ample (they even had cachaça and knew how to use it), and the food menu has nice variety to please everyone. I think the pasta in particular was very good for Vietnam. Also, the staff were all very kind, helpful and genuine and the atmosphere is very relaxing. We would definitely come back if ever in the area again.

Dropped in for a coupe of beers, very welcoming service. Ordered the chicken sandwich with chips(100,000ish), very much like a club sandwich. Chips didn't taste great, oil needed a filter/change. Sanga was great. Order the same again takeaway the next night and the chips were delicious. Great little spot with an awesome vibe. Menu offered Vietnamese and western foods, all quite affordable. Definitely check it out

I chose this place because of its high rating (4.8) and many positive reviews, especially for the hot pot. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. It took around 40 minutes just to receive the stove. After 45 minutes, only noodles, mushrooms, and vegetables arrived. The meat came even later, and there was still no broth. I had to remind the staff multiple times. When the broth finally arrived, it was cold. Even after 20 minutes on the stove, it only started to boil. On top of that, the attitude of the staff made the experience worse. While I was already waiting for a long time, I was asked unnecessary and slightly condescending questions like “Have you had hot pot before?”, instead of receiving proper service. At the end, I was also asked personal questions like whether my stomach felt okay, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. A waiter’s role is to provide good service, not to question or judge the customer. The service was incredibly slow and poorly organized. For a restaurant with such high ratings, this is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.
