this hotel is at Haiphong. not at the city centre, at the end of city. basically it's a resort.the area is large. there's lot of amenities in this resort. there's one building for staying. but several complex such as gym, vip room etc are separate building. there's tennis court and big swimming pool. a karaoke is also there. spa, shops, fishing area are the attraction. the room rent is very affordable.

Facilities are quite dated, driving range isnt great. You aren’t able to rent anything. Our room also smelled of cigarettes despite being non-smoking. The hotel had a strange vibe to it.

Very hard bed. Nice large room. Grand old place, it is quite old. Located a little way out of areas of food and bars. Taking ride in to Minh Khai area about 60k. Good buffet breakfast. Service was great.

After reading negative reviews I was expecting the worst. However, on entering our room was very impressed by the size and carpet was clean and almost new. We may have been lucky and got a good room. However, how friends also had a similar room. There is a bit of smell from the food in the corridors but it is not overbearing. For us it was a good stopover.

a reasonably well priced resort in hai phong located near the industrial area. vast space surrounding the hotel area with a big swimming pool. a word of caution though, could not find the depth of water mentioned anywhere around the pool

We got an upgrade to the executive suite because only rooms with twin beds were available. The pool was nice, but the golf wasn’t up and running anymore.

I go on business in Haiphong and stayed at Camela three nights.||The hotel is far from city center about 4 kilometer but it is very space and airy.||That is make me comfortable so much. In here I can walk around, fishing.... In gereral, relaxing and reducing stress.

I don't usually write bad reviews but I would have liked to know these things before booking. ||||My partner and I stayed here for one night because we were flying out of hai phong airport to go to da nang. After looking online we were impressed with the vast number of facilities and thought it might do nicely for a day/night.||Firstly, the hotel is in the absolute middle of nowhere, nowhere near the centre of Haiphong. Even though there is not much to do in hai phong, it's literally next to nothing but lots of noisy industrial construction. ||Additionally, we were the only guests staying here so it was like a ghost town.||||When we got to our room we immediately thought it smelt awful probably due to the carpet.||||We thought in the evening we might get a massage at the camela spa which was a massive mistake- it looks NOTHING like it does in pictures. They take you to the neighbouring "camela motel" which houses about 6 upstairs rooms with beds and mirrors (not massage beds). The ladies who arrived to massage us were wearing tiny silk dresses that didn't leave much to the imagination and high heels. It was definitely a brothel and we felt extremely uncomfortable, not to mention the massage that we received was awful anyway. ||||In the morning we went for a look around the golf club/tennis club/swimming pool. The golf club looked fine, however I wanted to play tennis and they didn't even have tennis rackets. ||||The hotel staff were not very helpful, no one at the front desk spoke much English - I had a better time with communication when I ordered room service from the hotel restaurant. ||||I couldn't order any cocktails from the hotel bar (there was a whole page of them in the menu) because the bartender didn't know how.||||The only good things I can say bout this hotel are that the beds are decent, the wifi is decent and the included breakfast was acceptable.
