  Great location in the city centre. Stayed in a deluxe double room for three nights. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner efficient. The enclosed shower was a welcome luxury compared to the typical open showers in Vietnam. The balcony was nice for some natural light and to watch the street life below. Daily housekeeping was much appreciated. Linh and Kevin at reception were lovely and most helpful. Overall fantastic value. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

  My wife and I chose this place because my parents grew up here in the 1950s, and I wanted the chance to experience and connect with where they spent their childhood. It was a very meaningful and memorable visit for us. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a kitchen, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only minor challenge we experienced was finding street food nearby, as we often had to walk quite a distance before coming across any options. Other than that, we had a great stay and appreciated the overall experience.

  Great experience staying here! Came with my parents and I and we really enjoyed our stay! This was by far the best value for our money hotel that we do that in Vietnam over the course of three weeks. It was very clean and well maintained. Additionally the staff, we’re all attentive and helpful. Would come back again! Thanks, Khanh for your support during our stay !

  I was surprised at how good this hotel was as it was quite cheap but had everything I could want, even an induction hotplate and a pan to cook in. The location was perfect, in a quiet lane near everywhere I wanted to go, near a park and lake, round the corner from the opera house, and within easy walking distance from the station. Next door is a terrific crab soup restaurant. I loved Haiphong and enjoyed staying in the Eastern hotel.

  A great spot for explore the city. We found the room surpassed our expectations. Big, clean and comfortable. Daily room clean which we didn't expect, well appreciated. Customer service was lovely and helpful, highly recommend for an affordable comfortable stay

  Good location, however, not too mary eateries around. Short walking distance to major sightseeing.Rooms smelled bad (we had three rooms) even we had asked for non-smooking room.
