  I was looking for all-day experience in Cat Ba and I didn't get disappointed. Great trek in the morning going up and down the hills, wouldn't hurt to have little experience. Fish massage (bit tinglish at the beginning but You can get used to it), delicious lunch, tremendous views on kayak venture and many more. Our tour guides were very helpful and with a great sense of humour. With "Gazz" you definitely won't be bored. Great thanks for unforgettable memories!!!

  We did a half day hike with Gecko as our tour guide and it was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and upbeat. We had door to door transport- great service.

  We booked the half-day Skyway luxury cruise after experiencing a disappointing tour with another agency the previous day. This cruise was amazing—we absolutely loved it! The boat was spacious, with plenty of seating, and there were only around 20 people on board, making for a comfortable experience. Lunch was delicious, and the dining area had a very appealing ambiance. The cruise also featured a jacuzzi, which we enjoyed while others went kayaking. The price was amazing value for money compared with the previous tour we had. Negatives: Our guide wasn’t very involved, but that didn’t detract much from our experience. The cruise ended at 2:00 p.m. instead of the scheduled 3:30 p.m., which was disappointing. Because this is a big boat it cannot go in Halong Bay so we only did Lan Ha Bay.

  Did the 1 day Cat Ba cruise and I couldn’t recommend it more! - We paid less than $50 for a full day - There were only four of us on the boat in the end - The boat was incredibly spacious, very luxurious and spotlessly clean - We were guided around fantastic swimming and kayaking spots, and enjoyed jumping off the boat & using the slide. We also visited a fishing farm which was really cool to see. - Lunch was huge and delicious - multiple plates of rice, fish, tofu, vegeatables, spring rolls, dipping sauces etc. - Amazing cocktails were made for us on request all day - Mainly, the whole crew was so friendly, great fun and offered fab hospitality. Thank you! :)

  We had a great tour to Cat Ba National Park with Mong and Năng! It was during Tet Holiday, exactly on the critical day when every other tour operator did not seem to be working, and Aroma Travel not only accepted our booking, but also arranged for two easy riders to take us by motorcycle (who drove very carefully and slowly, just perfect for two anxious tourists who have been avoiding motorcycles in SE Asia for nearly two months), since no vans or taxis were operating. Mong speaks excellent English and was just the best guide we had in Asia so far! Calm, knowledgeable, relatable, communicative, and fun. Despite not speaking English, Nang was also very nice, took excellent pictures, and introduced us to some plants and animals. Trung Trang cave and Đỉnh Ngự Lâm peak were absolutely wonderful to visit. After these sights, Mong and Nang took a longer route back to Cat Ba town around the island, stopping at a beautiful sunset bellevue along the way. The tour finished way later than foreseen, which is a first for us. Prime service, excellent guides, perfectly designed tour. We enthusiastically recommend Aroma Travel to other fellow travellers!

  We had a lot of fun on the tour booked through Aroma. The food was definitely among the top highlights of the experience we had. Also the kayaking we did and the biking in the village. The staff on the boat was great. Highly recommend to try it. Thanks Nham and Aroma travel.

  Loved the 1-day trekking tour. Our guide Gecko was enthusiastic and informative, and the itinerary had a nice balance of trekking, cycling, kayaking and a short cruise. He was also casually traversing rocks downhill in flipflops while checking his phone, what a guy.

  We did not have the best experience with the agency. We wanted to book a boat tour with a small group and were told that the trip was for maximum 10 people. This was why we chose this particular tour. When we arrived at the boat, they had booked a very large group with us, at a boat with a capacity for almost 100 people. The tour guide was very nice and they did their best to accommodate us separately from the large group, which was much appreciated. However, the itinerary and the experience were completely different than what we signed up for because of the group. We had to return to port early because of the group’s special schedule and our water activities (kayaking etc) were cut short. The food provided was also very disappointing and bland, and we expected more for a place with such a nice cuisine. We ended up leaving the tour early because we were disappointed.
