  Really uncomfortable bus, the so called VIP cabin was a small bus, with narrow pathway. No toilet, we went from Sapa to Catba and there was only 1 stop after 40minutes, we had to beg our driver to stop at around 12am, the personal was rude, service was really bad. No good air conditioning in the bus. We paid 800 000 VND for VIP seats and got all the way discomfort and rude worst behavior ever. Please always be careful and check beforehand with your own eyes how the buses look like. It can also be seen in the office of the company Ket Doan how rudely and unfriendly they are speaking to you. We made a big mistake to let our driver in SAPA book us bys tickets and then send us obviously fake photos of the bus. We were scammed throughly. Be careful out there! There are a lot of companies, no need to book at the first right away! Stay safe!

  Worse experience ever! The bus is uncomfortable, hot, cradle and have no toilet in a trip of 11hrs, they stopped once but you just notice because the bus is not moving, you get awake by a stranger because they don’t speak English. The lady at office is super mean a without respect to the customers, even get mad because we don’t said “good” the name of the destination.🤷🏻‍♀️ The driver put people all around the hallway, stopping in different locations around the road. And for the cherry on the top you will not arrive to the location, you booked “Cat Ba”, you and your luggage will dropped their office “Haiphong” wait for 30 minutes and hopping that somebody to explain in English what is happening. After that you will be in another uncomfortable bus to the ferry and if your destination is on their route you’re save if not they I indicate where to walk. With the sun after impossible to sleep during 11 hrs. I wish no one can get this awful situation.

  Do yourself a favor and PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! There are way better companies than this one. We traveled with the Ket Doan VIP 34 bus from Sa Pa to Cat Ba. The beds were insanely umcomfortable for taller people, and there was only 1 bathroom break throughout the entire 10 hour bus ride. Not to mention that the bus was overbooked, and one of the staff members took a seat INSTEAD of a paying customer!! I was very shocked to have seen this happen. The entire bus was woken up at 5 am with 0 communication and we had to change to a wear torn off bus to take the ferry afterwards. Upon arrival we’ve noticed that the luggages we’re not treated well either. All came very dirty and some even damaged. Only pro to be mentioned is the arrival time. We made it to Cat Ba 1 hour earlier than indicated.

  If I could, I would give ZERO stars for this so-called “transportation service.” What an absolute scam! We booked a so-called VIP ticket for the sleeper bus because our trip was overnight, and we were hoping for at least a little bit of rest. Instead, we were forced to start our “VIP” journey by being dumped on a non-VIP bus for an hour-long transfer at 11 PM — something that was NEVER communicated in advance. This is outright deception. The nightmare continued: the seats were filthy. My seat had a used napkin, and the blanket was clearly already used. Honestly, it was disgusting and unhygienic. So much for “VIP”! The non-VIP seats are ridiculously narrow — and I’m a small 5’5, 120 lb woman who still couldn’t lay comfortably. For my boyfriend, who is 6’2, it was pure torture. And then, the luggage drama: the driver insisted we leave our bags on another bus “going in the same direction.” What a joke. I trusted my gut, refused, and thank God I did — because it turned out that both buses did NOT even have the same final destination. Imagine being stranded without your luggage because of their lies and laziness. Let’s talk about the so-called VIP ride: it was impossible to sleep. The driver drove like a maniac, honking non-stop, blasting music, yelling with his co-driver at all hours, and stopping constantly in the middle of the night. Even when another passenger begged him to be quiet, the peace lasted maybe ten minutes before the chaos started again. Shameless. After six exhausting hours, guess what? Another transfer! Again, not communicated in advance — even though we specifically asked before booking. Another dirty, cramped non-VIP bus. And the grand finale: instead of being dropped off in Ha Long City as promised, we were literally abandoned in the middle of nowhere, 15 minutes outside the city, in heavy rain, next to a highway with no shelter. When we asked the driver to at least call a taxi, he just laughed in our faces, slammed the door, and drove away. Unbelievable. And here’s the cherry on top: we even booked their so-called VIP communication service — yet when we sent questions and later complaints, they never answered a single message. Clearly, they don’t care about customer service at all. This company is a disgrace. The employees are rude, shameless, and clearly couldn’t care less about their passengers. We even tried to reach out afterward to let the company know about this disaster — of course, no answer. They don’t care about customers, they don’t care about safety, they don’t care about basic human decency. All they care about is ripping off tourists. I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Learn from our mistake and stay away. We’ve taken sleeper buses in Vietnam with other companies and never had such a horrible experience. But this one? An absolute disaster from start to finish. They should be ashamed of themselves.

  I have taken so many sleeper buses and this was the worst experience ever. The bus was late, was overbooked so people were sleeping on the floor. We were dropped off over 2 hours late and we still had to take another bus (which was not communicated before)

  We had a really bad journey with this company from Sapa to Halong Bay. The busses hadn’t been cleaned before we got on, the drivers rode incredibly dangerously and the staff was extremely rude treating people like cattle, screaming at guests and randomly opening sleep pods very violently. In the middle of the night we were just screamed at to get up and change busses despite our journey supposedly being in one bus. The new bus was even worse than the first in terms of cleanliness and smelled really bad, which was not surprising given that the driver was smoking at the wheel…

  When I got to the scheduled location, the travel agency told me to go to another location, and when I got there, they told me to go to another location, but I couldn't get there in time and missed the flight. I will never use this company again.Tôi vẫn chưa nhận lại được tiền. Đây là một công ty lừa đảo.

  Sa Pa —> Cat Ba We booked and paid for a VIP sleeper - the pictures showed cabins - but the bus that arrived for us was a regular sleeper bus (so just chairs that recline) without any explanation or apology. There was no communication or indication at all that we’d have to change buses at any point during the trip. At 5:30 am the Ket Doan team came onto the bus and woke some people up saying “Hai Phong” - as we weren’t made aware of any changes whatsoever we stayed on the bus as we were travelling to Cat Ba, and assumed it was just a stop for people to get off. A minute later three of the Ket Doan team came storming back onto the bus screaming at us a million times “Cat Ba” and literally didn’t stop 😂 It was such weird behaviour and so aggressive since they hadn’t once said “Cat Ba” when they originally came onto the bus to get people off the bus at that stop. There wasn’t enough seats on the bus they then changed us onto so 2 of us had to share a top single cabin which felt extremely dangerous. The lady at the office in Sa Pa was nice, but the Ket Doan team we met at Hai Phong were rude, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. There are much better bus companies out there - GroupTour & SaoViet etc.
