This quant cafe was perfect. Daisy gave my friends and I an amazing experience with great service. The croissants were so flaky and buttery, the fruit plate was refreshing, the passion fruit was my favorite. I definitely recommend this cafe when moving around in Vietnam. Their English was also really good which was a delightful surprise. Patronize this cafe, you won’t be disappointed. From Brooklyn and Tampa with love!

My spouse and I had brunch at this cozy cafe. The interior is beautifully decorated and while it is compact with seating, it is surprisingly quiet and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and hospitable while providing quick, efficient service. We both tried the package meals which were thoughtfully curated and offered generous portions. We tried the omelette (included tomatoes and onions) and scrambled eggs with bread (soft and fluffy - I may have scarfed down 3 portions making omelette sandwiches…) hot coffee with condensed milk which included a sesame encrusted banana flavored wafer roll with peanuts and nougat? inside) hot coffee topped with salted foam (additional $10,000 VSD for this request), plus mixed fruit. I truly appreciated how they gave us the whole variety of fruit to share (pineapple, mango, dragon fruit, lychee, passion fruit). It was my first time trying raw passion fruit as well - what a delicious and pleasant surprise! I noticed the couple sitting across from us was acknowledged by the staff for visiting yesterday and I can clearly see why they returned. Highly recommend a visit!

Really charming little breakfast spot in the middle of District 1. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but once you step in, it feels cozy and welcoming, almost like a small European-style café. The food is fresh, well prepared, and perfect to start the day. Things like omelets, crepes, and their egg coffee are especially good, simple but done right. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, a nice contrast to the busy street outside. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for a while and enjoy a slow breakfast. What really stands out is the service, the staff are super friendly and attentive, making you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. Overall, a great spot for a proper breakfast in Saigon with a cozy vibe and very good value for what you get. 👍

Loved our experience at Chez Mimosa Cafe. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Beautiful atmosphere and clean. Our staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. The egg coffee had no business tasting THAT GOOD. I was in heaven. Highly recommended:)

Great place to start your day, as they serve good food. The breakfast combo really is a bang for your buck, plus the portions are big enough for it to be brunch. I would have liked for the omlette to be a bit more spicy/flavorful but they have hot sauce and ketchup bottles to compensate. Food aside, the service is great! The lady working is extremely hospitable. I was surprised to learn that she has been working here only for 8 months and is not the owner (due to her work ethic). Would come back again.

Beautiful customer service, they made us feel so special. The food was so yum, we had the breakfast Bahn mi and scrambled eggs with the freshest bread I’ve ever had. And the coffee was so good, a sweet caramel flavour from the Bean.

Tucked away on De Tham in District 1, Chez Mimosa is a charming little spot that makes a lovely start to the day. The coffees are the standout — rich, creamy, and easily on par with the better versions you'd find in to cafes around HCMC. Their crepes are freshly made, light, and pair beautifully with the coffee. Warm lighting, cosy decor, and genuinely hospitable staff give it a homely feel amid the Saigon bustle. Portions are generous and prices fair. Knocking off one star only because the menu variety is a touch limited. Worth a return visit.
