  Just got back to Vietnam for a few weeks and happened to walk past this café, so I decided to give it a try. I honestly enjoyed it more than I expected. The atmosphere was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly not too noisy for such a central area. The drinks suited my taste, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I stopped in for a short break before continuing my day, but ended up staying a bit longer because it felt so relaxing. If I get the chance to visit Saigon again, I’d definitely come back 😊

  Soo Kafe, just a short walk from Ben Thanh Market, is an easy place to recommend if you’re craving good Vietnamese food without the tourist pricing. Their Bun Cha stands out in every way — rich, smoky flavor from the grilled pork, perfectly balanced dipping sauce, and a portion size that’s more than satisfying. For the price, it’s honestly hard to beat. What makes the experience better are the optional side dishes and combo meals. You can mix and match without feeling like you’re overspending, and the variety gives you a chance to try more than just one dish. The fried Nem Chua is a must-order. Crispy on the outside, flavorful inside, and pairs really well with the mains. Another highlight is the grilled pork bundle on the menu. It’s well-prepared, juicy, and clearly made with care. You can tell they focus on getting the basics right. They also offer a wide range of fruit teas that are genuinely refreshing, especially after walking around the busy market area. The place itself is cozy, quiet, and spacious, with plenty of tables and chairs, making it a comfortable stop whether you’re dining alone or with friends. Highly recommended.

  Next to the binh dang Market, it's a rare find to have such a peaceful place. it was right outside the door, but it was hard to find; I had to turn left and right several times before finally reaching the third floor. I ordered an egg coffee, but the taste wasn't as good as I expected. The ambiance, however, was very nice; you can see the entire market from the terrace. Overall, it's a good place to relax.

  Soo Kafe is conveniently located right next to Ben Thanh Market. The entrance is a bit of a hidden gem—you’ll need to go up some stairs to reach the cafe on the third floor, but it is well worth the discovery. I ordered the Cream Cheese Coffee and it was delicious. It had the perfect amount of creaminess and balanced the coffee perfectly. The atmosphere is beautiful, featuring floor-to-ceiling bookshelves that make it feel very cozy and peaceful. The staff were also very kind and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area!

  Spacious but cozy, very quiet and calm with lots of natural light. Perfect for doing some remote work, reading a book or just having a chill coffee away from the hustle and bustle of the area. Honey late was really nice, you order at the counter and they bring you your order wherever you end up sitting. Wifi password is written on your bill so keep hold of it. Toilet is super clean!

  Aesthetic cafe, calm and chill vibe. Coffee is good (espresso) while the food is a bit oily but good for snacks. It’s located on top of the building and need to walk through a narrow alley that feels like an underground bunker.

  I had an awesome afternoon at Soo Kafe in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It’s one of those spots that makes you feel instantly relaxed as soon as you walk in. The vibe is cozy yet modern, with a nice mix of warm lighting and cool, minimalist decor that creates a chill atmosphere for just hanging out or getting some work done. I decided to go for a classic iced coffee, and it did not disappoint. The coffee was rich, smooth, and not too bitter—just how I like it. I could tell it was freshly brewed, and they definitely know their beans. If you’re a fan of strong coffee that’s not overwhelming, this place nails it. The service was friendly and quick, which made the whole experience even better. I also noticed some really tempting pastry options, but I was too full from lunch to try anything today. Next time, though! Overall, Soo Kafe is a great spot for a low-key coffee break in the heart of District 1. Whether you’re meeting up with friends or just taking a solo coffee moment, this place has a really nice vibe to it. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and need a good cup of coffee!

  The "Vibe Check" Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Found this absolute gem in the heart of Saigon! Feels like a cozy bookstore, but it’s actually a spacious, multi-level cafe with plenty of seating. The vibes here are top-notch, super relaxing and the aircon is cold, which is a lifesaver in the city heat.We tried two of their iced tea, and both were incredibly refreshing. The staff were smiley and welcoming. Whether you want to bring your laptop to get some work done or just curl up with a book and a delicious drink to recharge, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
