  I found this chill modern coffee shop 5 days into my visit in Ho Chi Minh literally the next street over. I think it tops some of the “instagramable” photo recommendations simply because it’s super modern. It’s tucked away in a small tiny alley in major financial area of Saigon. The coffee is great - cloud is a must try do not use the straw sip from the foam (I learned this technique in South Korea)! The staff is patient kind and cheerful! It’s a vibe for every kind of coffee lover. Plenty of seating for individuals, groups, tables and outlets to work if you have a laptop or simply need a recharge. There AC and greenery outdoor and indoor space. I wish I’d found it earlier but I’m happy I found it today! If you’re looking for the BEST coffee shop in Saigon start here.

  A hidden gem in Ho Chi Minh City. The croissants and garlic bread were amazing, fresh, buttery, and melt-in-the-mouth good. You can really tell the quality of the pastries. The cappuccino and drip coffee were both excellent too. Cozy atmosphere and definitely underrated. This café deserves to be on more Saigon café lists.

  A must visit if you go to Ho Chi Minh! Walked along the hot & humid streets of Vietnam and when I arrived to Every Half, the barista was so kind to assist me. He was knowledgeable of their coffee beans and was patient enough to wait for me to decide which ones I would get. He even offered to bring my things to a table so I can check their selection better. The manager was also so so so kind to share their Vietnam coffee beans and a cup of tasty Americano! The place was clean, the barista and the manager were attentive to guests, and the coffee was great! What else would I ask for? This place would still be on my to-go list when I visit VietNam again! Thank you for the great coffee experience!

  I came here because someone recommended it to me, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The space is bright and comfortable, but what stood out the most was the people. There’s one staff member who was especially attentive and knowledgeable, making the whole experience feel more personal and memorable. The drinks are consistent and well-crafted, especially the coffee – you can really taste the care behind it. Not sure if it’s just the place or also the person, but I’ll definitely be coming back 😏

  Had my breakfast here and ordered their coffee and bread combo. Coffee was strong and rich (and that is with sugar) while the ham & cheese bread was soft & tasty. What I love the most about this cafe is the atmosphere! Probable the most aesthetic cafe I discovered around District 1. Definitely enjoyed my meal and coffee here! Most recommended.

  One of the very good coffee chains that’s been opening more locations lately. The coffee quality is easily better than most other chains, and this branch is better than many of their other locations. They have a few different seating areas, so you can choose where to sit depending on the vibe and the view, and there are also some long tables if you want to work. The only downside is scooter parking — you’ll need to park nearby and it costs 10k.

  Food/Drink 4/5 Pastry is great, americano medium roast gesha tastes good. Creamy Cloud is quite similar to caramel macchiato which isn’t special, changed the profile of their coffee. Service 4/5 Self-service, order and pay at counter, wait for food buzzer and self pick-up. They do have water. No service charge. Atmosphere 4/5 There is a nice seating area outside and a second floor.

  Every Half Coffee Roasters — Ngô Văn Năm: Style Over Substance ⭐⭐ (2/5) I’ve visited other Every Half branches and thought well enough of them, which makes this location all the more disappointing. The Ngô Văn Năm outpost feels like a completely different operation — and not in a good way. Start with the staff. Loud, inattentive, and lacking the basic courtesy you’d expect anywhere in Every Half branches, they talk and laugh loudly, let alone at a specialty café that positions itself as a premium experience. When elderly customers or those with mobility limitations need to navigate the stairs to the upper floor, don’t expect anyone to offer a hand or even acknowledge the difficulty. The team seems far more occupied with their own conversations than with the people they’re supposed to be serving. Speaking of upstairs — the state of it is genuinely surprising for a café of this profile. Tables left uncleared, surfaces not wiped down, a general sense that the space hasn’t been properly managed in some time. There’s a particular irony in being asked for a Google review immediately after ordering — before you’ve even received your drink — while the dining area around you tells a very different story about the experience on offer. And then there’s the crowd this branch has cultivated. A steady stream of visitors toting cameras and treating the space as a backdrop rather than a café, suggesting this has become more of a tick-box tourist stop than a place for people who genuinely appreciate good coffee and good hospitality. Anyone who has spent real time in Vietnam’s more remarkable spaces — the kind that don’t need an Instagram post to justify their existence — will find little here that impresses. Vietnamese hospitality has a warmth and attentiveness to it that is genuinely hard to replicate. This branch, unfortunately, has little of it. Come for the aesthetic if you must, but don’t expect to be made to feel welcome. Among branches, I prefer Saigon Pearl branch the most, next to villa nearby, but it has a good real polite vibe. Here the table is filled with laptop and people taking camera everywhere. You can see that patron of this shop do not really respect other people privacy. The staff here is also just lousy and noisy.
