Recently my wife required a medical procedure while we were in Vietnam. I was extremely impressed with how clean, efficient, professional, and compassionate the hospital and its staff were. In particular Dr Nguyen Thanh Tin, Dr Huynh Thanh Loan, and Dr Nguyen Xuan Quynh were very thorough, helpful, and professional and made our experience there much less stressful and more reassuring than I could have hoped for. I cannot recommend this hospital and its staff enough, if you have any medical needs in Ho Chi Minh City I encourage you to use their services.

We arrived from USA. We stay next door to Tam Anh clinic in quan 7. We was recommended by family. I took wife for yearly check up- the hospital cleaned and very friendly staffs. We decided to go VIP for quality service and faster. At first, I was impressed and then there are a lot of hiden fees- beware friends and family. After talking to reception team leader, Mr Chau Huu Vinh, the situation was changing and convinced to stay to finishing my wife exams. Hopefully the hospital would reconsider to change and help more patients, not take advantage of patients. PS thanks to Mr Vinh!👏👏👏

Tam Anh General Hospital (Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City) is a high-end private hospital, renowned for its obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, assisted reproductive technology (IVF), and modern infrastructure. A major plus is its skilled and dedicated doctors, fast examination process with minimal waiting times, and hotel-like facilities, but the cost is relatively high. The doctors are dedicated, and the nurses are gentle and professional. It consistently ranks among the top high-quality private hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City. The facilities are modern and clean, the inpatient rooms resemble hotel rooms, and there is ample parking. However, the cost is high, making it suitable for those with private insurance or a comfortable financial situation. It's ideal for those seeking 5-star medical services, a smooth childbirth experience, or high-quality medical care without long waits.

Tam Anh Hospital in Tân Bình is a well-maintained and professional medical facility. The hospital is clean, modern, and well organized, with a staff that is both professional and efficient. From the moment you walk in, you can see that the facility is designed to provide quality care. However, be prepared this place is very busy. Expect longer wait times, especially during peak hours. While the staff does their best to manage the crowd, the hospital’s popularity means that things can get a bit hectic. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, well-run hospital with professional service, Tam Anh is a solid choice. Just make sure to plan ahead and be patient!

I have already paid for the surgery in advance, but the entire process has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I only wanted to go home briefly to get a charger, yet I was told I had to submit an application first. I tolerated that. What was even more unreasonable was that the consent form basically stated that the hospital would not be responsible for anything, making it feel like all the risks were entirely on the patient. I honestly cannot understand this — were you afraid that I would run away? I already paid the full amount. Where exactly would I run to? On top of that, after I signed the documents, the staff did not even inform the security guards in advance. As a result, I was stopped again at the entrance. My car had already arrived, yet I was still being forced to wait while they handled this and confirmed that. The whole process was chaotic, inefficient, and badly managed. Please do not just dismiss everything by saying “it’s hospital policy.” Policies should still be reasonable and respectful toward patients. I had already paid, yet I was treated as if I was being monitored or restricted from even leaving temporarily. The entire experience was extremely uncomfortable and has seriously damaged my trust in the hospital’s professionalism and service attitude.

This hospital is really shitty, like a mafia organization. Money first, their price is maybe 10 times higher than the other big ones in HCMC but their services are way below. I went there for health check on 21st May 2026, the doctor treated me like i am a begger, whenever i ask him anything he immediately shows his attitude...i would never recommend this place, get away of it if you dont want to have a bad day.

Two weeks ago, my sister made a huge mistake to take our father to emergency room at Tam Anh s hospital. They put him in the ICU with other 8 patients. The cost was 20 million dong /day, which was over price. With this amount, we could have had a VIP room at another hospital. Moreover, they only allowed the patients family member to visit only twice a day and 15 minutes at once, which was ridiculous. I asked them to allow me stay longer since I has just come from the US to visit my dad. From here, I discovered the horrible service from the doctors, nurses and staff members to the patients. While I was standing next to my father s bed, I witnessed the other two patients were screaming and asking for water. The whole staff was busy talking and completely ignoring those two patients. I even remind them that the patients were begging for water, then one of the nurses yelled back," He has just had water before.", and the doctor said, " That patient had no idea what he was talking about". I was complete shocked and felt so bad for my father and all of the patients who paid 20 millions/day in that ICU room and received that horrible service from those cold blood doctors and nurses. I wish I could take my father home right at that moment, but I wasn 't able to, since my sister signed him in and fully trusted the doctors from Tam Anh. This hospital only impresses people by its cleanness and fancy equipment, but doctors here are unprofessional, less knowledgeable and disrespectful to the patient's family. Some of them look like they were working as internship. They hired tons of nurses and staff who were busy chatting to each other in the ICU room, without taking care of the patients. It was not worth it for what we paid here. I would give 0 star if there is one.

Waiting time is crazy. I waited 1h30 mins to see Dr Nguyen Hoang Tuan Vu at VIP area. The total cost was over 20M VND for my case. It is definitely not worth your time and money to do checkup at VIP area. Save your time, look elsewhere for a better VIP service.
