I came today at the hospital with a very bad sore throat flying back from Phu Quoc. Took some antibiotics last might given by the pharmacist in Phu Quoc. In 10 minutes i was seen by a young ORL specialist that spoke excellent english and was very attentive. Gave me medication and now i just hope to start feeling better. I paid in total the ridiculous low amount of $77 canadian and i was out in an hour. Wow, shocked about the time, service and cost. In canada i could have stayed 24 hours at emergency without even seeing a specialist. Vietnam you have my heart.❤️

I'm a tourist. Because I couldn't remove the contact lenses, I came to the hospital for medical treatment. Maybe because I was a foreigner, the whole process was very smooth and fast. I came to the ophthalmology department in District D. The doctor examined me. Finally, I successfully removed the contact lenses in my eyes and prescribed eye drops. It took 1 hour and cost 1 million VND in total. It's great!

My first time going here. Had food poisoning and got rectal bleeding. Got next day appointment even though I probably could have gone same day. Whole process from check in to consultation and pharmacy took 1.25 hours and price was inexpensive (no insurance). I don’t like to go to the doctor for everything but I wanted to double check the bleeding. Thank god it was not bad. I wouldn’t hesitate to go hear again if something else bad happens. Total cost with appointment = $455k

The hospital staff were excellent—quick, professional, and caring throughout. I came in suspecting an infection, and within just two hours I’d seen a doctor, had an ultrasound, received a diagnosis, undergone a lancing procedure, been bandaged up, and collected my medication. The cost was also very reasonable. The hospital itself was clean and well-maintained. While it’s not the most luxurious facility, it was perfectly adequate and certainly not unpleasant.

I recently had major laparoscopic surgery at this hospital. It went very well. First of all, my doctor and surgeon, Dr. Phan Diễm Đoan Ngọc, was very kind, reasonable, highly-skilled, professional, and she also speaks English well. I had to get quite a few tests done prior to surgery and they were all completed quickly using the latest technology. The surgery staff were professional and efficient, and the surgical ward was modern. I even had a small heater keeping me warm in the surgical bay. My stay in the hospital post-surgery exceeded my expectations in many ways. I was given a private room, which had its own washroom with modern shower, large windows, a comfortable hospital bed and a chaise lounge for my family member to sleep on. It was kept very clean by the maintenance staff. The nurses were caring and professional. I unfortunately didn’t get all of their names, but I’d like to thank them all, including Lý, Hà, Yến and Yến Nhi. Also, there was a small spa inside my hospital ward where I had a relaxing and refreshing hair wash from Kim Anh. They provided me with three tasty and nutritious meals each day. My recovery was quick, which testifies to the skills of my surgeon, Dr. Ngọc. She has also really gone the extra mile in her support and care for me. Overall, I highly recommend this hospital.

I was in HCMC trying to arrange a hip replacement and it wasn't going great. On the last day I heard someone recommend Vinmec. Before vising I had tried emailing them but was always completely ignored, but I thought I'd pop up for information to see if it's something I could consider. I came to this Central Park one as it was the closest. The place itself was like a mall. I spoke to the receptionist for information, which she was very reluctant to give and repeatedly pushed me to 'see the doctor'. But I wanted to come prepared with tests, questions etc. so I kept on and eventually she made some calls and gave me a price. She also gave a quote for home visit, only for bandage change, but they cannot arrange carers nor give accomodation pointers (she said try airbnb). Well the day before I went there I had tried messaging them on Zallo. The only thing I received from them was a message replying to me on Zallo, telling me please not to contact them on Zallo because they don't use it, which is weird. In other words, you simply cannot contact them. So I asked this receptionist what I can do for information, and she said... see the doctor. I went home (abroad) and downloaded the app. I managed to make an appointment, and returned a few months later. I booked a doctor on the app as it said he was the head of something. The price was 690,000 on the app but it was a pay in arrears system. So I set off on my 384km journey to see him. I arrived about an hour early. The reception is bright and glossy like a mall but I was directed down to a darker, lower level that was more like a bus station in atmosphere. I waited in a small room and was seen early. I had a list of questions, xray and MRI (he only looked at the xray). I noticed straight away his English comprehension wasn't great and he struggled to understand me sometimes. I asked if dual mobility implants were available and he said they are a standard in all patients (I've never heard of this and frankly don't believe him as they have their own risks and parts can't be found locally (perhaps the question was misunderstood)). I asked how long I would be in hospital and he didn't know. I asked the price and he wrote down about 10,000, which is a lot more than I had been quoted months previously by the receptionist (who had made calls to get that figure for me). I asked what type of implant it was and he didn't know. By now I realised this isn't going to work, I'd wasted my time and was quite irritated. I insisted he find out, so he went on the computer and said Midacta. I asked if I had a choice of anesthetic, like spinal, and he also didn't know. I asked him if I should have any vaccinations to prepare. He said not less than two weeks in advance, but didn't know which to recommend. I told him I have vascular insuffieinecy in the affected leg, will swelling be a problem, and he said we will do an ultrasound and have anti-coagulants. I asked if there was any physio given during my stay and he said I'd just do what I usually do at home (no, in other words). I asked if there was a choice of approach and he said he only does posterior, as this is all he's ever done, so take it or leave it basically. I have a muscle issue and can't take the increased dislocation risk, and so that was a deal-breaker. Of course, if they published any 'package information' anywhere so I could have known that, I wouldn't have visited and wasted my time. So I asked him how one would proceed then (in theory), as there is no way to actually contact the hospital, all forms of contact are completely ignored. He said there's a secret email, which he gave me, and assured me I'd get a reply (I never bothered with it). There is one saving grace with this 'consultation', and that is that he said it was basic information and so no need to pay. So then I went back to the nurses' station. There was one nurse there who confirmed there was nothing to pay. Then she showed me a tablet with a feedback questionaire, with various forms of smiling and frow

I am a chronic patient of the psychology sector, I love the output of my treatment, so much so that i have to leave a 2 stars review for attention of this matter. The matter is the new relocated room for my treatment. Please sincerely keep in mind that my session is more than an hour, and not just a 15mins check-up, More than an hour of kids screaming. So i have to sit in a narrow 2 x3 meters and endure the sound of kids screaming. It is extremely unpleasant to sit in a small room with scream reverberating all around the walls- reminded me of being drowned in a ball pits. I am stressed after the session. As a happy returning patient, i feel stressed and unhappy for the matter of room location for psychology treatment.

06.07.2026 Today I came to the clinic for my first appointment with a dermatologist to discuss acne treatment. I don’t remember the doctor’s name. She was a young woman, and her nose was covered with a bandage (or kinesiology tape). Right away, she told me that I would need to have some blood tests before starting systemic retinoid treatment. I said that I already knew blood tests were required. She then immediately said that the total cost would be around 8 million VND. I replied that it was too expensive. (To begin acne treatment, you don’t usually need that many tests, and the same tests would have been much cheaper at a regular laboratory.) Before the appointment, I had also been asked whether I had health insurance. I explained that I did have insurance, but it would not cover acne treatment, so I would be paying out of pocket. I asked the doctor whether I could have the blood tests done at another laboratory because I knew it would be cheaper. She said no. She told me that it wasn’t allowed because of their standards, and that they could only accept test results from their own laboratory. I explained that I had previously been treated at VinMec by other doctors. They showed me exactly which tests I needed on the computer, displayed the price of each individual test, and asked me, “Are you okay with the total cost?” At that time, the total came to about $200, which was also quite expensive (I was being treated for knee pain), but at least they clearly explained what I was paying for, and I agreed to it myself. This time, however, the dermatologist refused to even tell me which tests I needed. She simply said that I had to pay for all the tests. My conclusion: the clinic is simply trying to make money from foreign patients. It’s terrible. By the way, when I left the doctor’s office, the staff immediately told me, “You don’t need to pay for the consultation. You can go home.” As a result, it will be as if I had never even come to the clinic. There will be no record of my appointment, and I won’t be able to prove that I was ever seen by the doctor.
