  **“Alleyway Hostel is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. It truly felt like home. I often did my online yoga classes in the chill room, which was such a peaceful and relaxing space. All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming — they really made my stay special. I highly recommend this place! Once you stay here, you’ll understand what a real hostel experience should feel like — warm, personal, and full of good vibes. Thank you to the owner and all the staff for everything.   Great experience. Very clean, hygienic, and comfortable stay. Staff is also nice and responds with smile. Someone is always there at reception to attend you. Restroom is unisex but housekeeping keeps it clean and dry all the time. Worth the money. Would like to stay again in the future for sure.

  I stayed in a 8 people shared dorm (Mũi Né) - ok A/C (24h) - Room and bathroom clean - Rooftop with tables and chairs, nice to chill Room: - ok A/C (24h), not working 100%. It just lightly cools down the room very slowly (at least doesn't feel as hot as outside). The lowest temperature is about 24C-25C and it won't feel any colder - 4 bunk bed - Great matress, good pillow and great blanket (kinda short for tall people +180cm) - Window lets natural light come inside room. - Dark curtain available in bed (there's a gap between the curtain and the bed frame so it's not 100% private) - Good space in hallway - Night light available Bathroom: - Outside room - 3 shower, 2 toilet and 4 sink (all separate) - Shampoo, bodywash, hand soap available. - Towel available (ok quality) Lockers: - Below the bunkbed Location: - 550m to Bui Viện walking street (8 min) - 1.3km to Ben Thanh market (18 min) - 1.9km to Nguyễn Huệ (27 min) - 2.6km to water bus (36 min) Overall: - Nice place and clean - Comfortable bed - A/C not cold enought - Had good sleep Improve: - Fix A/C + fans - Rack in shower to put cloths and towel (my towel kept falling from the current hangers) - Add a rack or hangers in bed (to hang cloth, towel, etc) -1 star because of the A/C.   Apparently they don't take a credit card during certain hours of the day which isn't advertised anywhere. They didn't tell me that I could ask for the secret option to pay in the morning and I had to walk to 4 ATMs in the middle of the night with an injured leg. Staff just shrugged and said "well you didn't ask" 😑 shelf for your belongings is crooked so all my stuff fell on my head in the middle of the night. Also they never marked that I showed up for my booking so I couldn't make a review on hostelworld and I will be double charged

  it took them forever to accept or decline my booking, only 10 min before they have to give an answer, they cancelled. then i check if there are no beds available but there are… so i don’t know what that is about. it’s a minor annoyance but this is my experience. maybe they don’t regularly read the bookings and it was an auto-cancel since they didn’t confirm. booked with trip.com as i didn’t want to deal with paying cash at the hostel (my assumption is they prefer cash when you check in)

  Great location. Close enough to everything but down a little alleyway so not loud at night. The bathroom was clean but I saw a cockroach when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I booked the 6-bed female dorm but it only actually had 4 beds which is fine but just mis-advertised. However, I requested a bottom bunk and I was told I would get one but got a top bunk instead which was disappointing. Not a social hostel at all. You can leave your bags after check out which is helpful.

  Fantastic hostel with plenty of space to relax - including a roof top! It was clean, quiet, well organised, and the staff were great. Will definitely stay here again.

  Very nice rooms and beds, however without the aircon on the duvet was way too hot and i got very little sleep both nights, double check the AC before going to bed! Other than that the staff were helpful and the location is brilliant. Great for a couple nights stay in the centre before moving up north as a traveller (about 10 minutes walk from where many buses will pick you up)
