  Great concept hostel in lovely location right by he river. The futuristic capsules and decor make it feel like you're staying in a spaceship. The small size may not suit everyone, don't even consider it if you have anything like claustrophobia 😂 But for something different it's a great experience....the clever design shows what can be fitted into a tiny space to provide clean, comfortable stays with all the technology comforts you might want... Pull down tv screen, charging points, multiple lighting options, mirror, decent ac... All integrated. There is also a hi-tech lockable private locker for each pod so.big bags are nearby and safe. Nearby within walking distance are plenty of local eateries, shops and some international quality food places.

  amazing service - came late night and the owner was very nice. you are getting public clean shower + restroom, personal locker, and pod to sleep w/ aircon + charging (usb-c and b) + hook for clothes. lighting is good. pod locks on inside. found it to be very safe - lot of foreigners, maybe some bad apples (i read other reviews) but i did not notice (obviously be intelligent and utilize locker or keep things in pod to avoid chance of theft). coffee in morning or just walk outside and get other food. convenience store next door. 12 pm check out - 300k VND i was happy with what i got (accept credit card if you didnt exchange yet). desks to sit and also few computers if needed.

  I really enjoyed this experience, i felt safe, staff is nice , the coffee shop is great. They give u water and clean towels everyday, the locker is big but i did a lot of shopping when i was there and the staff let me use a extra locker , i thought that was really nice of him. You can walk to the walking street probably 10 minutes cc store next door is open 24 hours , lots of food around, great place to stay .

  I booked to stay one night at this hostel and ended up staying 2. It’s very nice and air conditioned inside the rooms and the capsules are super cosy, mattresses don’t do much though aren’t the most comfy. The bathrooms weren’t the cleanest but did the job, free towels and water too which was great. The capsule room can also get a bit stinky but normally passes after a day. Great coffee in the little shop in the lobby too at a great price. Was my first ‘hostel’ experience so I do recommend it.

  I was disappointed with my stay at Capsule Riverside. The room was advertised as having a large/double bed, which is what I specifically booked and paid extra for. However, on arrival I was given a single bunk instead. When I tried to explain this to the hostel and showed my booking confirmation stating a large bed, the staff member simply laughed and told me I had booked a single, despite me showing the proof. This felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially after a long journey. I also contacted Agoda to try to resolve the issue, but this wasn’t helpful. They kept repeating that I had booked a double bed — which I already knew — but did not seem to understand that this was not what I had actually been given at the property. To make matters worse, the bed I was assigned was visibly dirty when I arrived. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, so this was very disappointing. The location itself is fine, but overall the experience did not match what was advertised. I would strongly encourage the property to clarify their listings and improve both customer service and cleanliness.

  The theme and lights will impress you at first ,but past all that there are a lot of imperfections and cracks and alot of room for improvement with staff, hygiene,capsules etc ....

  It's like having your own pod on a spaceship.The walls are quite thin in the pods but I didn't have a problem sleeping at all, I really enjoyed myself there.You're right beside the river only a short walk or grab from main areas.

  This is my second stay at this hostel and had experienced the same convenience. Location is very near food shops and some famous places. Grab bikes fare are generally cheaper in Viet Nam and a lot cheaper if coming from the hostel due to its proximity to well known places in Saigon. Bed (capsule) is very comfortable, hi-tech and private. They have centralized AC so it gets cold in the evening but they provide a thick blanket which makes sleep comfortable. A small bottle of water is provided along with the towel. They have lockers to keep essential belongings. The room is dorm style, there are other guests staying in each of the capsules. It's generally quiet and when inside the bed, it's very convenient and private. Card is provided to access both capsule and locker. Restroom is generally clean, there is one for male and another for female for both floors. Hand and shower liquid soaps are provided and disposable cups for brushing teeth are also available.They have a lobby where guests can stay for a coffee or consume foods bought or ordered. Highly recommended for solo travelers on tight budget but wanted to experience convenience, comfort and stress-free stay.
