  Wonderful hostel and so clean! The owner very kindly opened up the doors for us at 4am with no booking after our Homestay let us down. Really kind lovely people ☺️ We did however leave a blue/green Ripcurl hoodie in the room, could someone please reply to this review with a WhatsApp number so I can message you and see if you have it? Thank you!!

  highly recommended for you guys travelling solo or maybe in small group looking for accomodation near everything than this is it. the location is very good, you can reach almost everything by walking starting from banh mi and some pho and all any kind of culinary stuff, beside of that this hostel also very near from bus terminal in Saigon so if you go to or from airport is very good location. the owner are very kind, explain in detail and accomodate all of your needs and i think she got all the answer hahaaa... thank you guys for excellent service...

  Really great place to stay. Nice and clean rooms, AC, and Rose is a really great hostess and very kind. Right on the walking street, but in a quiet and tucked-in location. Have stayed here multiple times because they are the best! And will come back again.

  I recently stayed at a small hostel run by a lovely mother-daughter team, and it exceeded my expectations. The place looks exactly like the pictures—clean, with great bathrooms, plenty of hot water, and excellent air conditioning. The beds are very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Located right in the city center, it's also great value for money. Although it's a new hostel with few reviews, people shouldn't worry about that. I’m glad I gave it a chance. The hosts are very helpful and responsive, making my stay even better. It might not be the most social hostel, but you can always meet people elsewhere and return here for a peaceful night’s sleep. Highly recommended for those who value cleanliness and comfort.

  This little hostel with single rooms is my favourite find in Ho Chi Minh City. Tucked away in an unassuming little alleyway it is a great place to stay. The room I'm in is very clean and has A/C. The bed is comfortable and clean. I can even lock my door while I'm out and keep my things safe. There are tea and coffee making facilities on the ground floor and access to extra water if needed. There is access to a laundry service so you always have clean clothes. The owner is a lovely lady that goes out of her way to look after you. I really can't praise this hostel enough. Just give it a go you won't be disappointed.

  After a month of backpacking, this was by far the nicest room we stayed in. Beautifully decorated with excellent facilities, it felt like a real treat. There's a hair dryer, kettle for tea and coffee, fridge dowstairs, somehwere to hang your clothes and also a full length mirror which was a lovely touch. The location is perfect - close to all the must-see sights and great restaurants, yet surprisingly quiet despite being near the party street. We didn't hear a thing from our room. It can be a bit tricky to find at first, but just follow the host's directions: stop at the Seven-Eleven store - 26 Do Quang Dau Street, District 1. And then from there you look opposite to see an alley, you walk straight to the alley for 60m, then look ay the left side to see our hostel. There is a sign you can clearly see and just follow Google maps as well The host is absolutely lovely - such a kind woman who genuinely cares about her guests. She speaks a bit of English but has no problem communicating through Google translate. She replaced our towels daily and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Don't let that one negative review from Simon fool you it's so obviously fake. Plus, there's an adorable cat that lives here too! Thank you so much for letting us stay here, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ho Chi Min city.

  The rooms are small and cramped, there are not enough showers and toilets for the amount of quest. However it was clean and the staff is very friendly. The location is excellent

  An absolutely harrowing experience. I booked for 4 days because I had tours every morning and didn't want checkout and checkin issues. Firstly, I had to wait 15 minutes in the hot sun because they changed the code at Northern Hostel 1 without any prior warning. Then I was taken to a different location Northern Hostel 2 (unbeknownst to me) while lugging my luggage around behind one of them for 10 minutes. It's a pure lie that someone carried my bags to the next location, as is pretty much all of her response. I never ran down any stairs (I had a severe knee sprain from an injury). I was shown one room with one bed. It was beyond hot in the room. I was disappointed, and then told to find another place because she "could tell I was not happy." I said I'm not cancelling after all I had been through and had things to do. This was followed by truly hostile behavior, yelling and screaming at the top of her lungs and pounding her ches and yelling in a language I can't understand, followed by her pushing me downstairs (while my bags are still upstairs), and followed by her knocking my phone out of my hand while gesturing for me to go downstairs. No apology from her. Two hours later a young lady (who I assume is the owner) walks up to me to attempt service recovery, and after telling her what happened, she asked me for feedback. I told her it's not cool to invade people's personal space and that the elder lady could have shattered my phone. Instead of handling it professionally, she confronts the older lady IN THE ROOM, IN FRONT OF ME, and this turns into a 30 minute yelling session between them. You can imagine how uncomfortable this could make one feel, so I decided to leave and visit Landmark 81 for sunset and pictures to get away from the loud yelling, only to be followed out the door and stopped at the door for 10 minutes while my Grab driver is waiting for me, only to be followed by another 10 more minutes of their arguing and yelling at each other (chest pounding again) until summarily yelling at me that I have to leave (because they "didn't want a bad review") - I was going to let bygones be bygones, but this was the final straw. I've never had someone (aside from my parents) berate me the way I was berated by these two. Destroyed my plans for my tours and cost me money and several extra days of my vacation. And after all of this, I have to fight for my refund. It takes 3 hours for me to get a response about my refund, followed by one hour of them hanging out in the back and taking their time in front of me to get my refund. And STILL was being rude and discourteous. I literally had to BEG to get a refund from a place that told me to kick rocks. They are disorganized, disgusting, and discourteous. Unfathomable behavior for a hostel to run their business like this, but in the end, they did me a favor by leading me to a hostel that actually cares about their customers and took very good care of me for the next week or so. Proceed with caution. I would never stay at this place or the other Northern Hostel location. I wish I could give it a zero star, because it was THAT BAD.
