TLDR: 100% recommend. You have to stay here. The staff are incredibly polite, respectful, and helpful. I am an American-Vietnamese on my first trip to Vietnam and they were incredibly nice and hospitable. I overheard a conversation between staff and a customer where they were debating which tours would be the best price to make sure the customer would not overpay. They will not steer you wrong. The hostel is very clean and they have free breakfast and drinks. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. The other guests were also very social and friendly. You have to ask for Cô hai Win and bà cô Nini, genuinely the sweetest and most kind people ever.

I had the best stay imaginable here. The staff were the highlight of my stay. They were so helpful, friendly and kind. Nini made my stay. We bonded over being vegan. I stayed an extra night to try her wonderful food and it was more than worth it! Win was so lovely and helped me book the tours which I loved. The breakfast was lovely. Every staff member was so kind and welcoming I appreciated everyone thank you. Hostels also in a very good location and the rooms are clean&comfy

Had an amazing stay at Saigon Chill. The hostel is clean, super social and made it so easy to meet other travellers. Huge thanks to the head staff Win and Nini, who went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and helped organise tours with great local advice. The free breakfast and evening beer were brilliant touches that brought everyone together. Amazing atmosphere, fantastic staff and incredible value. I’d definitely stay here again.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the incredible hospitality at this hostel. The location is absolutely unbeatable, making it so easy to explore Ho Chi Minh City, but what truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff here are incredibly friendly, and I have to give a special shoutout to Win and Nini. They are the two sweetest and funniest receptionists you will ever meet. They truly took me in like a nephew, making me feel completely at home and part of the family. The perks here are amazing. You get a great free breakfast to start your day and free beer at night to unwind and meet people. On top of that, the team was incredibly helpful with booking daily activities, and they even went fruit shopping with me. It was all the best. Win and Nini are absolute gems, and I genuinely cannot wait to come back to Ho Chi Minh City and book this exact same hostel again. Highly, highly recommended!

I have a had a wonderful stay at Saigon chill. The hospitality staff rooms and service have been unmatched. The hostel makes it easy to book tours and see the city, while also offering lots to do at night. The rooms are always clean and the beds are large and comfy. Most of all, the staff is lovely. They are the nicest hostel staff I have ever encountered and take time to make sure all needs are attended to and more. Beyond doing a stellar job through their service skills, they are genuinely people who treat guests like family. Next time I am in Saigon, I will be staying here again without hesitation.

Had a great stay at Saigon Chill . The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Loved having lockers right in the room too. Breakfast included plus a free beer every day was a nice touch. The location is also great, just a short walk to the walking street, felt safe the whole time. The atmosphere also made it really easy to make friends. Big shoutout to Minh at reception, an absolute legend. Helpful, friendly, and made the whole stay better. The other staff were also very helpful and friendly.

This is a really great spot if you’re looking for a place to meet people that is centrally located but not crazy loud. It’s a nice place to chat and socialize but also chill out. Nini was super welcoming, she also shared a lot of fruit with me and was happy to offer recommendations. All the ladies there had a really warm, kind vibe. And I also got that same energy From the guests and the entire place. The free breakfast, free water and free beer at night was also a nice addition. I had a private room and overall I was happy with it, but there were definitely some things that could have been improved. A lamp would have been good so I didn’t have to use the really bright overhead light the whole time. I did think it was a little strange that the shower was IN the bathroom — as in, just a faucet on the wall. It was just a bit annoying to have to wipe down my entire bathroom every time I showered, but I suppose that has something to do with the construction of the building, which is not easy to change. Also, the A/C was great, but we weren’t supposed to turn it off, and it was thus really cold at night, but there was only a thin blanket provided. All in all I had a really nice stay and I can recommend this hostel, and the people running it, to anyone looking for a nice, cheap place that’s also close to the center.

I had a great time at this Hostel very friendly people, great breakfast and essentially located to all of the fun activities. Jenny, the receptionist at the hotel is outstanding. She helped us to scheduled many activities and guided us throughout Vietnam on where to go. We love her. She is a beautiful person.
