I loved my stay at vung tau surf. This hostel has only been open for a few months and I stayed for a little over a week. It was such a beautiful building, artfully decorated and spacious. Looks just like the pictures, I felt safe and comfortable. The lockers were nice for my peace of mind. It was awesome to go surfing everyday, Constantin is the best surfing teacher I've ever had! I was worried about the noise from construction next door but the hours seem to be 9am-5pm, which didn't interfere with my sleep thankfully! Loved the vibe of this hostel. I appreciated the location, the air conditioning, hot showers, fast wifi, free laundry, the rooftop, the kitchen, the calm evenings away from the noise and the access to surfboards! Beds were comfortable. (Bottom bunk beds have a curtain) I even got to rent a motorbike through this hostel for a week. Great location, it made my stay in vung tau exceptional. Will be back! hopefully soon.

Everything here is wonderful!!! After randomly finding this hostel on Google Maps, I came to the front door but was still a bit hesitant, standing at a distance. Then an old lady walked by and asked: “Have you found a place to stay yet? Stay here.” After asking, I realized she was just a neighbor living nearby. How interesting!!!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Such a chilly atmosphere. You feel so easy and relaxed. The interior is amazing. So much beauty in every corner. I always pay attention to the details. I feel that the owner is doing his best to make the hostel even better. There will be a bar on the rooftop in a few days. And the view from the rooftop is breathtaking. Slso you can try yourself in surfing or take up skateboarding classes. I'll be back for sure.

Finding Surf Hostel in Vung Tau was a happy accident that turned the city into one of my favorite destinations. The hospitality here truly transcends the typical hostel experience; the entire team makes you feel like you've joined a close-knit group of friends co-living. The accommodations are spotless—the non-AC rooms are clean and sufficient, but the AC rooms are absolutely worth the small upgrade. The washrooms are consistently pristine and well-maintained. Aesthetically, the common areas are beautiful, particularly the 1st-floor working kitchen, which became my favorite spot for seamless work and coffee breaks. Even as a non-surfer, I quickly found myself engrossed in the surfing culture, making fantastic friends and getting inspired to return just to learn. The magic truly happens in the evenings: late-night, friendly conversations on the rooftop bar, sharing stories and laughs with travelers from around the globe. As a bonus, the kitchen offers surprisingly authentic and excellent Western cuisine, thanks to a true culinary master on staff. This week-long stay was defined by the incredible friendliness of everyone, solidifying Surf Hostel’s big role in making Vung Tau an unforgettable favorite.

A lovely hostel. I stayed in the dorm on the ground. Basic room, clean bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, cozy shared area. The owner is so nice and friendly. I love the vibes here. The beach is only 5 min walk away. The only minus point is that the bed was not really comfy, some didnt have curtains

Vung Tau Surf Hostel is an exceptional place for both beginner and advanced surfers. While it’s perfect for novices with its top-notch surfing lessons and peaceful environment, it also caters brilliantly to more experienced surfers, especially in winter when the swells can get quite impressive. The hostel’s location is a major plus, nestled amidst vibrant nightlife and delectable eateries, yet maintaining a tranquil atmosphere for relaxation. Its cleanliness and quietude are commendable. The hosts are the heart of this place – extremely accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable about Vung Tau and Vietnam. Their tips and guidance are invaluable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return for another surf trip, eager to tackle those winter swells. This hostel seamlessly combines great surfing opportunities for all levels, convenience, serenity, and warm hospitality.
