  The location is at the city center, but it's still 15 minutes walk to Ben Thanh Market and Metro station. Just several steps out of the hotel, banh mi sellers are all around. The room is private, but the bathrooms are communal. I love their creativity of utilizing limited space to provide a comfortable stay at budget rates. The room has a fan; the air-con is outside to send cool air to three rooms. If you feel cold, you can shut the upper window of your room. The mirror is attached to the inner side of the room door. There is a desk and a chair, and space on the desk along the wall to put your stuff. A fire escape mask is even prepared in the room, something that I seldom find in many other small accommodations. But one thing, there's no soft light for sleeping. If I turn on the light, it's way too bright. If I turn off, it's sort of pitch dark. Two bathrooms, two washbasins, and two toilets are there on every floor. During my stay, I didn't find all those rooms are being in use every time I need to use them. You need to keep you shoes in the locker lobby room. They provide you with substitute sandals. Breakfast is decent, but it's still good though, toast, instant noodle, chips, and dragon fruit. The girl staff is also friendly and speaks good English. The reception counter is 24 hours. It's not an often case that I find a small accommodation with 24-hour reception counter. Several things to note: if you are not comfortable with small space rooms and corridors, you may think over. Also, you can hear the chat or sound from the next room as the separating walls are not soundproof. Overall, I had a good stay here for three nights. I recommend this place for budget-sensitive travelers. It's really a good value.

  Perfect! If you stay in the private rooms, you may hear other guests, so it was sometimes a bit noisy late at night, but the staff were informed and did something about it.

  Very comfy standard rooms, perfect for a low-mid budget. Room was comfy and very clean but a little small. There were towels and a fridge in the room, storage under the bed and a small working desk which was really handy. A couple of extra wall hooks or shelves would make the space feel even more functional. Free simple but great breakfast: toast, spreads, fruit, instant noodles, coffee and tea. If you’re vegan or dairy-intolerant, the coffee has pre-mixed milk, but there are plenty of cheap oat milk options nearby and great low-cost coffee shops just a few minutes’ walk away. It would be great if the hostel added a non-dairy option like soy or oat milk to breakfast or brought coffee without milk powder. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Location for us was great. Super close to loads of restaurants, shops, cafés and spas. Only a 10–20 minute walk to the main hubs of District 1, but far enough away to get a quiet night’s sleep without much noise. Facilities were always super clean, well topped-up and always had hot water. Tours also picked us up a 30-second walk from the hostel, which was really convenient. Overall, it was a great little find in a hectic city and we would definitely return 😀

  Cons : Too small , thin blanket , no windows , no AC , shared bathroom Pros : Good wifi , good price , table and chair , fan. It's up to you to decide.

  Best in its price rage with neat bathrooms and rooms, the reception services are finest(only one though), rest all are well maintained, only three issues Congress from the sizes of bathrooms.

  I had a pleasant stay at Toi’s Travel Home Central. The location is very convenient—right in the central area, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and cafes. The hostel itself has a cozy and welcoming vibe. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Basic amenities are provided, and everything works as expected. It’s a great option whether you’re staying short-term or for a few days. What stood out the most was the friendly and accommodating staff. They were always ready to help with directions, recommendations, and any concerns during the stay. Overall, it’s a good value for money, especially for travelers looking for a simple, clean, and accessible place to stay in the city. Would definitely consider staying here again.

  I stayed here for 3 nights. The hostel is placed in the perfect location if you want to be able to walk to the landmarks of HCM. Cafés, Restaurants and shops are also right around the corner. That’s a huge plus. It’s located in a small alley, which makes it quiet even for the location. Everything was clean. The hostel is rather anonymous and not very social. I booked a private room, which was very small. It didn’t have a window and no AC, but a fan that worked good and an AC in the alley. Because the room hat a window to the alley, some cold air came through. The walls are made of plastic, so you can hear everything from the other rooms. The staff was friendly.

  The place was closed when we arrived on our booked date. We got no notification about this. Imagine the terror of being greeted with a closed door after a 20 hour long journey from the other side of the globe. We had to seek shelter in the nearest WiFi-cafe (a Starbucks, how great is that for a first experience of Vietnam) to look for somewhere else to sleep. I do not think I will get my money back either, as they do not pick up their phone.
