  One of the best hostels I stayed at. Nice interior, clean, spacious rooms, great location. The cafe downstairs serves a nice bánh mì! Also when I asked if they could turn up the AC because I was a little hot at night, the night after it was immediately cooler in there! Great service.

  I tried the hostel and the restaurant. it's well placed in front of Ben Thanh market. still quiet inside. well at least on my side. the team is very helpful and competent. hostel is cheap, but offers a morning breakfast. restaurant food is good too. an easy choice any day ✨

  Love this hostel. The beds were big and spacious. Good AC in the rooms with bathrooms and showers too that were super clean. Stayed for 3 nights and definitely recommend!

  It’s actually a good place to stay, cleaner beds, nice dorms and you get hot showers in your washrooms. Breakfast options are decent. The one good thing about this hostel is its location. It’s just in front of the Ben Thanh Market, so yeah you can do shopping with very ease. The only drawback is that they don’t have space to socialise, so you cannot connect with the fellow travellers.

  Room was comfortable and clean. Shower was hot with great pressure. AC worked well. The yogurt and fruit breakfast was really lacking. Location is like being in the middle of Time Square in NYC.

  Budget-friendly and friendly stay We stayed at Vy Da Central Market Hostel for a week and had a good experience. The staff are very friendly and can speak English. Free breakfast is included with about 5 choices, which is a nice bonus. Rooms are shared (up to around 12 people), so just be mindful of others and respect silent hours. Great option if you’re looking for an affordable place in a central location 👍

  No hand soap, toilet paper, body wash, or shampoo in any of the bathrooms. The beds aren’t cleaned properly — I checked two on arrival, and both had visible dirt and a lot of hair when I opened the blanket. There are also no hooks in the showers to hang your belongings. Basic hygiene standards like providing hand soap should be obvious for any hostel, especially when hosting international guests, we are not all uneducated Asians whom don't understand basic hygiene, so why would they think this is acceptable. Overall, the place feels poorly managed and far below acceptable standards. The receptionist was unprofessional; her attitude was completely unnecessary. If that had been a man speaking to me like that, I would have smacked him — she needs a lesson in femininity and customer service. On the other hand, the cleaning girl was very friendly, professional, and cute. Give her a pay rise for her customer service. 👍

  Stayed at Vy Da Central Market Hostel in a private room. Was informed that housekeeping would be done daily, but during my stay the room was only properly cleaned once. For the rest of the stay, rubbish was not cleared, the bed was not properly made, and toiletries were not replenished. Overall, the housekeeping standard did not meet expectations. Once is enough, will not be back again!
