I had a meal at Catinat Lounge and it was truly a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking on me while I was enjoying my meal and drinks. I’m currently learning Vietnamese, and Mr. Anh noticed that and kindly came over to help me practice. We had such a fun and enjoyable conversation together. Thank you, Mr. Anh, for making my experience so special and memorable. Your kindness and hospitality created an amazing experience for me.

I stayed here in Ho Chi minh for 4 nights and the hotel was excellent all round. The staff were very helpful from the minute we arrived. Another guest recommended the spa so we gave it a try. I had the reflexology for 60 minutes and it was an excellent experience. My friend had deep tissue massage and said it was the best they have had too. So a must try if you stay here. Food in the hotel has also been great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely historical hotel. I cannot believe this hotel has a 100 year history. A classic hotel that is very well maintained, with great service. All staff members were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Breakfast was decent and satisfying, nothing fancy but good enough to start the day. My room was on the first floor facing a busy street. The window soundproofing was excellent, however there was a very loud noise from the air conditioning outdoor unit right outside the window. While the room itself was well soundproofed, guests who are sensitive to noise should definitely request a quieter room. There are several types of rooms. I saw another room with a very high ceiling. I really loved my room, but next time I would like to come back and stay in a high ceiling room. The hotel looks classic, but everything is extremely well maintained. The pool area really lets you feel the history of the hotel. The bar on the 8th floor has a very classic atmosphere, which feels completely different from modern bars these days. I personally enjoyed this unique and old school vibe. One downside was that the riverside area right in front of the hotel is currently under construction, which made the surroundings feel a bit busy and noisy. I have stayed in many modern hotels, but this time I truly enjoyed staying in a classic and historical hotel.

Best VN eggrolls ever at the Rooftop restaurant on 8th floor. Beautiful River View of Saigon River; away from all city noise. Excellent staff; the manager is very friendly and engaging. All speak English. Excellent live band at night. Delicious Wagyu steaks, french fries and mash potatoes. And to pair with French Red Wine(great selection of wine) A change of tastes from daily vietnamese food is welcoming if staying for more than a week.

Would 100 percent stay here again when we visit. The rooms were lovely and clean. We were on the 4th floor and an event was being held on the 5th making it very noisy but after a quick call upfront the issue was quickly resolved. The breakfast was good. Plenty of options and the fresh juices hit the spot. Overall service offered was definitely 5 star quality.

We found this beautiful hotel very elegant and welcoming. An old World French decor from the 1930’s establishment .The staff were very professional and friendly. Our room was comfortable however would prefer a room with an outside view/balcony. The bathroom was very opulent. Breakfast was satisfactory

The hotel is very well positioned on the river in District 1. It is a step back in time with its history and glamorous opulence. Breakfast was delicious, so try the beef pho, bahn mi as they are freshly assembled to order and easily missed as the chef is outside the restaurant area, and it was an accidental finding. The only opportunity for better service at this hotel would include this as something to mention to new dining guests as they appear on level five for their breakfast. The doormen are friendly and so happy to assist, thanks especially to Ahn!

We went to the Majestic Hotel M bar/restaurant on the eighth floor of the hotel. The view is great. The service is good except after they delivered the food they never come back to check. The food prices were reasonable for hotel rooftop bar prices (spring rolls, shrimp salad) except for the 6 slices of garlic bread for 200K ($8) and the BBQ pork ribs which was 500K and came with only 3 ribs! A ridiculously high price - that’s about $7 a rib, a high price even in California where I’m from. I’d come back here for drinks and appetizers but a full dinner here is too expensive.
