  From the moment we arrived, our stay at Sofitel Saigon Plaza exceeded every expectation. The hotel perfectly blends French elegance with Vietnamese hospitality, creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and offered stunning views of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after exploring Saigon. Every detail, from the premium amenities to the impeccable housekeeping, reflected the high standards of the Sofitel brand. What truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our experience exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt valued as guests. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve experienced, with an impressive selection of both international and authentic Vietnamese dishes, all beautifully presented and of exceptional quality. The location is also fantastic—close enough to many of Ho Chi Minh City’s major attractions, while still offering a peaceful retreat from the city’s energy. If you’re looking for a five-star experience that combines luxury, comfort, and impeccable service, I couldn’t recommend Sofitel Saigon Plaza more highly. We will absolutely be returning on our next visit to Saigon. If you see Thy Man Thao Truc, (photo below) she’s FANTASTIC

  It was an extremely pleasant experience staying at Sofitel. My family and I absolutely enjoyed it! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. When I requested for a connected room, they allowed it and thus it was way more convenient. (My kids loved watching the TV) The service there was also great. The staff there were friendly and nice. The club access was definitely a good bonus as we could drink unlimited drinks and food. As my parents do not really like to go out late, we ate at the club room for all 3 days. The food there was luxurious and the wine and mocktails were good. Hotel breakfast was amazing as there were many options. My kids loved the hash browns and ice cream there. The coffee and tea were great. Location was good as there we were right smack in the center of the HCM. (Like it was 10-20 mins away from everything only) Will come back here again if I have the chance.

  The Sofitel Saigon Plaza is a beautiful hotel. We had a lovely greeting from Keiu Anh who was very pleasant. The room was large and clean. The pillows were way too soft/thin for us but that is always personal preference. The gym was fantastic - quality equipment and a good size with plenty of space. The pool was lovely, lots of seating available but wasn't a fan of people being able to smoke at the entry to the area (again personal preference but messes with my Asthma). Good amount of drinks available at the pool bar. The breakfast buffet was huge with amazing food. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The downstairs lounge was beautiful and with great food and drinks. The highlight was the hidden cocktail bar (BarBard) which includes a barber shop. Stunning area and amazing cocktails for a great price. Loved it.

  I had a truly wonderful and memorable experience at Sofitel Saigon Plaza. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's elegant atmosphere, exceptional hospitality, and outstanding level of service. The restaurant was excellent, offering delicious food, a welcoming ambiance, and impeccable service that made every meal a pleasure. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Ms. Van That Lan Thuy, Ms. Ngoc Nguyen Vanessa, and Ms. Thy Man Thao, who took exceptional care of us throughout our dining experience. They were friendly, attentive, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Their warm personalities, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction made us feel valued and well cared for at all times. I would also like to recognize the doorman for his outstanding service. Every time I left or returned to the hotel, he was there with a warm smile, promptly opening the door and greeting guests with professionalism and kindness. His attentiveness created a wonderful first and last impression each day and truly enhanced the overall experience. The dedication and hospitality demonstrated by all the staff reflect the high standards of excellence that Sofitel Saigon Plaza is known for. Every member of the team contributed to making my stay and dining experience comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and its restaurant to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City, and I look forward to returning in the future. Her warm smile, kindness, and willingness to help made every meal a pleasant experience. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel.   We had an exceptional stay at Sofitel Saigon Plaza in District 1 — truly a five-star experience across the board. The rooms, service, and location are all outstanding. The staff are incredibly attentive and thoughtful, even providing us with complimentary extra water bottles throughout our stay. Our room was immaculate, with fresh linen and towels, perfectly functioning air conditioning, and a huge king-size bed that had my wife and I sleeping like babies every night. The standout highlight is without a doubt the morning buffet breakfast — hands down the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever experienced. The egg station serves rich, flavoursome free-range eggs, and I devoured two servings of eggs Benedict in no time. The barista-made coffee is excellent, each cup finished with the Sofitel logo dusted perfectly on top with chocolate powder. Service during breakfast is next level. A special mention to waitress Thy Man Thao Truc and her team — they are exceptional. Staff walk around offering fresh croissants and cakes directly to your table, creating a truly premium experience. The fresh steamed dumplings make you feel like you’re dining in an authentic Chinese restaurant, and the selection of fresh fruit, juices, pastries, salami, prosciutto, and even kingfish crudo is incredible. You’ll never be waiting — plates and cutlery are refreshed almost instantly. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. As our Grab pulled into the hotel, the bellboy was there immediately to open the door and assist with our bags. We were warmly greeted and smoothly escorted through check-in. The lobby itself is grand and immaculate, setting the tone for the entire stay. The rooms are spacious, the food options are extensive, and there is genuinely something for everyone. Do yourself a favour and book your stay at Sofitel Saigon Plaza — you won’t regret it.

  There are many aspects of this hotel that we would rate as exceptional, but what truly sets it apart is the consistently high standard of service delivered by every member of staff, across all areas of the hotel. Importantly, we observe this same warmth and attentiveness extended to all guests - not just regular visitors or VIP clientele.||Vietnamese hospitality is already renowned for its genuine warmth, gentle nature, and willingness to please. However, the team here, under the guidance of executive management including Alistair, Estaban, and Eban, elevate that hospitality to another level entirely. Guests are made to feel genuinely valued, comfortable, and able to fully relax knowing they are being exceptionally well looked after.||What also impresses us is the way the team thoughtfully cater to guests of all ages, often without any request or prompting. This was especially evident during our recent stay from 2–10 May, when we travelled with our grandson. He was absolutely delighted, and thoroughly spoilt with thoughtful touches including his “Little Prince” accessories, a ride-on toy, and other age-appropriate gifts and activities. It was such a treat for us to watch him enjoy these extras and, truthfully, even the adults enjoyed them too. Thank you to the entire team for creating such special memories for our family.||The rooms are immaculately presented, dining options are plentiful, and the rooftop pool area is a standout, with refreshments and bar menu available, and a view overlooking the city.||In summary, while there are many lovely properties in central Ho Chi Minh City, this hotel consistently exceeds expectations and, in our view, will not disappoint. ||Warmest regards - and can't wait to be back!|Tapsell Family

  Service wise, very good. Attentive and friendly staff. Only down side we experienced this stay was the noise from renovation works just next to hotel, even late into the night. We had to request for ear plugs to sleep which makes our sleep uncomfortable. This really spoilt the whole experience.
