  I have studied with LVIS for 1.5 Years (2 Hours Per Week) almost all exclusively online and from Australia. I have never lived in Vietnam. The syllabus is structured so that you get talking right away. The better part is they teach you language and structure that people actually use, IN THE SOUTH, in their daily lives in their homes and on the street. It is not like learning a language from a book. The final benefit is that the online class is set up so well that there is little if any tangible benefit of even needing to be Saigon based; you can learn anywhere. My wife is from Saigon (relatively recent arrival) and we speak with our two young children exclusively in Vietnamese daily. Without LVIS I could never have been able to do this, let alone communicate with my in-laws when we travel back to Saigon. If you are shopping around for schools to teach you Vietnamese you can stop shopping. Just buy a lesson package and give it a run. You won't be disappointed.

  Excellent Vietnamese Course for Beginners I recently completed a 20-hour package in level 1, and I’m thrilled with the results.   Absolutely wonderful learning experience! The curriculum is set up in a way that allows you to immediately communicate outside the classroom and immerse yourself in the life in Vietnam. During my time at LVIS, I had a chance to take classes from three different teachers, Vũ, Hang and Linh, and all were wonderful and fun! I studied at LVIS for three months throughout my entire stay in Saigon and if it wasn’t for the time difference I would certainly continue online! I can’t recommend LVIS enough😊

  The best languages class I ever had ^^. I learned Vietnamese at LVIS for 2 months for my Vietnam trip. I take 1 week for face to face class, the class is very comfortable, easy to find and flexible also. The face to face class with LVIS teacher was great and fun to learn, their lesson materials made me easy to understand and fast learning. They’re so friendly and highly skilled teacher, I really liked them ^^. After finished my face to face class, I started online class, it’s really interesting that It’s flexible to change schedule as I have to travel a lot plus the teacher also helpful and give me a good online lesson with their great teaching techniques. They showed me not just a great lesson but a great travel experience as well. For this 2 months lesson, it was surprising me that I can understand what Vietnamese local talking and make me easier to talk with them during my trip in Vietnam and made it as an unforgettable and joyful travel experience in Vietnam as well. I highly recommend LVIS if you wanna have a best Vietnamese class in Vietnam.

  I have tried to learn Vietnamese with multiple teachers before I settled with LVIS. LVIS was recommended by my friend, most of my foreign friends have their lessons here, everyone enjoys their learning experience there. Teachers are friendly and they are able to adjust the lesson depending on each individual's learning needs. If you are looking to learn Vietnamese, LVIS is definitely the place to be.

  I've studied Vietnamese at LVIS and the teachers there are excellent. They have a logical and well-defined lesson plan. Once you get to the intermediate/advanced levels, they include news from current events and have you watch movies with Vietnamese subtitles to keep things interesting. In each lesson, they engage you in conversations the same way native speakers do, and because of that, I could be a part of Vietnamese life and culture. For example, I arranged a surprise birthday party for my Vietnamese wife without telling her. I got her friends in on it and asked them to keep it a secret, while I booked a large table with a local restaurant through Facebook. I did all of this in Vietnamese, with not one English word typed or spoken. Her friends as well as my wife were all impressed. Even the restaurant staff was shocked at how I was able to do all this in their native language!

  I learned in the school for two months so far and can highly recommend it. The teachers are really good and have a lot of experience in teaching. The communication with the school is easy and fast. You can adjust your schedule as you wish and the learning materials provided are awesome!
