  For the past 10 days, I have found Miss Thuong to be very informative. She doesn’t mind repeating things over and over until I understand them. She is very punctual and professional in both her lessons and presentations. She explains the tones very well and always makes sure I have a good understanding of the lesson before moving on to the next one. She also makes a great cup of coffee ☕. I’m looking forward to studying online with Miss Thuong when I return to Australia.🇦🇺🦘 With regard to Con Nhi, I have found her very helpful in rescheduling lessons so that I could also visit different areas around Vietnam. She also helped me organize taxis 🚕 for me to travel to and from my lessons. In light of the fact that I was here two months i was hoping to meet the owner of VLG, but unfortunately she was unavailable during this time.

  Amazing language school! I arrived in Ho Chi Minh and went directly for 1 on 1 language classes with Thương. She is an amazing teacher. I spoke my first vietnamese sentences directly in the first hour of class. She is fluent in English and very fun to be around. Since then I was able to make locals laugh and learn more about the culture and language while traveling. Best place for an awesome travel start

  I had a very good experience in learning Vietnamese. I got the 160 hour package and it has really been helpful for my day to day life here in Vietnam I highly recommend it to anyone that needs to learn Vietnamese and for whatever reason as well since they cater to what you will use Vietnamese for.

  Oriented program, professional teachers, and friendly environment. They always have students do the exam to test their levels and to target their motivation to study Vietnamese then design a teaching plan matching their demand. They hold many activities, such as volunteer trips, hiking trips, the Year's Eve Parties, summer holiday trips for both our students and teachers to connect with the locals, to experience Vietnamese custom & culture and to practice Vietnamese naturally and flexibly.

  I really enjoyed my time with VLG. As a VK, I wanted to focus on learning how to read. I had prior knowledge speaking Vietnamese at home, but never learned the alphabet. My teacher, Ms. Trinh, used words I knew to help me pick up the constant, vowels, reading sentence by sentence. We met multi days per week in person at the VLG office then switch to online platform when I had to move to Hong Kong. Overall the service to top notch and the teachers really design the learning for your level and needs to help you improve :))) If you get more hours and be consistent you will improve a lot!! Thank you Ms. Trinh & the VLG staff :))

  Forget the other schools - this is how you learn TRUE Vietnamese like a local!! My Vietnamese is very basic but my teacher Gia has been extremely encouraging. Although our lessons are in Vietnamese, she also is fluent in English so can explain grammar, slang and context to me properly if we get stuck. The lessons can follow a structure and can also be extremely customisable. Gia is supported by Nhi, who is extremely organised and personable. They really have been a highlight to my time here!

  Wonderful teachers, very helpful. I did 20 hours of Vietnamese lessons (mostly) at the start of 2 months of travel in Vietnam. I was taught by two teachers at VLG, both of whom were very good teachers and very helpful with learning the basics of the language, per the curriculum, as well as helping to understand many cultural nuances, food, regional differences, and much more. The course gave me a great start to learn more language as I traveled along, and I cannot recommend or thank VLG and my teachers enough. Thank you very much!!

  I had a wonderful experience learning Vietnamese with Thương! Thương is a very enthusiastic and patient teacher, always creating a friendly and interesting learning environment.
