I really enjoy the laundry at this place because the service is very good and the lady is very friendly. She helped me fold and wash my clothes neatly without any charge. She can also speak English.

Lucky is so sweet and kind. She even folds your laundry for you. Such a great place to go, drop your laundry off, come back and it's all done. I've been here a few times and will go back again. I'm picky with how my clothes are done just because things shrink, but she was absolutely amazing. No issues at all :)

This place is super clean and the lady was super nice and helped me use the machine. She will help you do wash & fold as well. It’s right next to my hotel and cost me about 100,000 VND ($3 )

I’d still give this place a 4-star rating, even after everything that happened. As Asian tourists, we’re quite aware of the possible tricks or small scams that can happen when traveling in Vietnam, so we try to stay alert. We had two loads of laundry and decided to use two machines. The staff member, Lucky, was very friendly; nice, jolly, and helpful. She made an effort to have a conversation in English, which we appreciated, especially since she mentioned she’s the only staff working at the laundromat from 11 AM to 11 PM. She assessed our laundry and said my partner’s would be a medium load (120,000 VND) and mine would be a large load (140,000 VND). The place is technically self-service, but she insisted on handling everything herself and encouraged us to go around the city while she managed our laundry. She literally took our baskets and loaded them into the machines herself—so we let her. We gave her 500,000 VND to exchange for tokens, since the machines operate on tokens. We didn’t have smaller bills, so she even went outside to find a delivery driver to break the cash, which we found helpful at the time. However, she didn’t give us our change right away, even after the machines were already running. I asked her about our change, and she would say, “Yes, yes, later—go out, coffee.” Also, although she initially said my load would be “large” and my partner’s “medium,” she ended up putting my laundry in a medium machine and my partner’s in a large one, which we noticed but didn’t mind much. We finally decided to go out because she was very consistent in encouraging us to leave our clothes. Before we left, she asked if we had any money in our clothes or bags, and we confirmed we didn’t. We then went out for about an hour. When we came back, the laundries were not yet done and up for drying in a new machine. She made sure my partner’s clothes were fully dried, but mine were still a bit warm rather than completely dry. It was okay, not a big issue. My partner started folding her clothes, and when I tried to fold mine, she kept taking over and helping. In the end, we folded my clothes together. Then came the issue with the change. There was a 20,000 VND service fee for her help, which we didn’t ask for and didn't see on the price-list cause its small, but we accepted since she assisted us. However, even after including that fee, we were still expecting around 200,000 VND in change. When we asked about it, communication suddenly became difficult. She seemed to struggle with English at that point, and we had to rely on a translator app. The possible explanations we understood were: 1. She thought the total (including the service fee) matched exactly what we paid 2. She included the laundry + service fee but still miscalculated 3. She believed she had already given us the change before we left At the end of the day, it was simple: we gave 500,000 VND, so regardless of any additional fees, we should still receive the correct change. After going back and forth for a while, and when she realized we weren’t backing down, she suddenly remembered that she still owed us money and finally handed over the change. While doing so, she mentioned that she had been working all day. She also had a habit of being physically affectionate like touching our cheeks when we were thanking her and about to leave, she touched my hair and pull out a white hair for conversation, etc. Overall experience: The laundry machines worked well, and the detergent and fabric conditioner left a good fragrance on the clothes. The service felt warm and personal, but there were clear issues with pricing clarity Final verdict: Good results from the laundry machines themselves; folding-wise, not really—it was just simple folding and not aligned along the seams. Just be really careful and cautious. pics she reco for us to try and the outside of the shop
