  As the rules around foreigners riding motorbikes in Vietnam become stricter, I decided it was finally time to get my Vietnamese motorbike licence. Since I didn’t have a licence from my home country, I assumed it wouldn’t be possible, until I met Huy from DC Motors in Thao Dien. From the very beginning, Huy guided me through every step of the process. He patiently taught me the Vietnamese phrases and terminology I needed to pass the theory test and was always professional, supportive, and encouraging. Living in Nha Trang meant all of our lessons had to be done online, but that was never an issue. The quality of the teaching and communication was excellent throughout. Last weekend, I passed my test and now have my lifetime Vietnamese motorbike licence. I honestly couldn’t recommend Huy and the team at DC Motors highly enough. Their service from start to finish was outstanding, and they made what I thought would be an impossible process straightforward and stress-free. If you’re a foreigner looking to get your motorbike licence in Vietnam, this is the place to go.

  Opted for the 3-class ride-along lesson here and it far exceeded expectations! I’ve never driven a motorbike before and was very nervous about being on the road in Vietnam. But since I’m moving on Da Nang, I knew having the mobility of a bike would make a huge difference in my daily life and ability to explore the city long-term. DC Motorbikes made that easy. I rode with Lan, who was clear, patient, and supportive. The lessons start in a quiet neighborhood where you get comfortable with balance, acceleration, maneuvering, and signaling - just like riding a bicycle. Then, you’re on your own doing loops around the neighborhood. Halfway through your first lesson, you follow your instructor through Thao Dien - larger roads, back streets, and intersections. I felt confident by the end of the first day. The next two days were spent driving around D2, D1, and beyond - on highways, roundabouts, and downtown streets. I thought I would be nervous in D1 or on highways but I felt totally calm and had no issues. In 3 days, I feel prepared and confident driving on my own. Highly recommend this place to any new drivers! The process is easy. The price is very reasonable. And the bikes are well-maintained. Thank you Lan & DC Motorbikes!

  Amazing customer service, gave helpful tips for the toughest portion, facilitated practice and helped with communication at the actual test. This service allowed us to go as a group and our instructor Tâm(Sarah)English speaking skills were fantastic and helped hold our hands through a multi-step testing day.

  Richard was fantastic to work with! I brought my girlfriend here for 3 motorbike lessons and it was an awesome experience. The staff were excellent! Very helpful with road knowledge and they spoke great English. If you’re looking for lessons or renting a bike I wouldn’t look anywhere else!

  DC Motorbikes is a great company. I moved to Vietnam with 0.0 experience on any kind of motorbike. I did a one time lesson to get familiar. Felt shockingly confident after the one lesson and went on to do the licensing process with them. It was relatively painless as they handled all of the paperwork stuff and I just had to focus on passing the test. It feels great to drive a motorbike legally in Vietnam! lol

  I haven’t rented the scooter for long yet, but I plan to keep it for a month. The scooter looks great and was provided very quickly with a helmet. The service was super fast, the price is excellent, and the value for money is unbeatable. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it ✅ I’ll update my review at the end of the month. Thank you very much!

  Great place, great people. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout the entire license process. Ms. Tam explained the written test very clearly, and provided helpful tips on the driving part of the exam. Considering all of the details involved in this process (health check, administrative stuff) the price is really very well worth it - don't go through the license process alone, use DC!
