  We were recommended this place by friends and didn’t realise how popular it would be amongst tourists as it’s down a little alley. We were hooked by the first mouthful of lunch, returning for dinner that same day! We ate there again almost every other day until our departure. The food is full of flavour and cooked very well. The tooth fish was my fave and my husband loved the beef skewer plate as well as the fried tofu with the most incredible sesame dipping sauce. You can actually view all the menus from adjoining restaurants and try from them all (the bill will however will be split) Attentive staff and prices reasonable.

  It’s the best Vietnamese cuisine I had. We ordered almost 6 dishes and ALL OF IT taste really good. My personal fav would be the omelette dish. Trust me you will go WOW! It’s a must ordered dish. Another wow dish is a low key looking, grilled chicken. The chicken was perfectly grilled, juicy, the the green chilli sauce was perfect for each other. It’s too good and we paid a second visit during the trip before we head home ✨

  We had a great dining experience at Bep Me In, and a big part of that was thanks to Sam, the manager. Sam was incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout our visit. He took the time to help us choose our dishes and made sure we ordered the right amount of food for two people, which we really appreciated. His recommendations and attention to detail helped make our meal enjoyable and stress-free. The food was generally very good, and we enjoyed most of the dishes we ordered. The only item that wasn't quite to our taste was the bamboo fried chicken, but everything else was delicious and well-prepared. Thank you, Sam, for your excellent service and hospitality. Your effort and care made our dining experience a memorable one, and we truly appreciated how welcome you made us feel.

  We had a great dinner for two at Bếp Mẹ. The food was authentic, fresh, and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the crispy Bánh Xèo, grilled skewers, and fried chicken, all served with generous portions of fresh herbs, vegetables, and dipping sauces. A special thank you to Beo, who provided excellent service throughout our meal. Beo spoke very good English, patiently explained the dishes, and gave great recommendations that helped us experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Delicious food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City and looking for a genuine local dining experience.

  Very delicious banh xeo and com tam. They are the must order when you visit. It's recommended you book ahead to get a table. The service is friendly and the price is slightly more expensive compared to similar restaurants. I guess for a Michelin guide restaurant, the price is justifiable.

  Best Vietnamese food we tried so far. We ordered their bun cha, banh xeo, and shrimp fried rice. The Salted Lemon and the Kumquat drinks were very refreshing. Staff gave exemplary service. Special shout out to Vicenzo who taught us how to properly eat banh xeo. Also, kudos to the staff because I left my handheld fan on our table and when we returned after an hour, it was still there 🥹

  This restaurant was recommended to us by our friend, who told us it serves authentic local cuisine—and it definitely lived up to the recommendation! The food was so incredibly delicious that we came back again the very next day. We especially loved the fried sesame tofu and the bamboo pork, but honestly, every dish we tried was absolutely amazing. The flavors were authentic, the ingredients were fresh, and everything was prepared with great care. We would come back anytime and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an outstanding meal!

  I first dined here about 3 years ago and was absolutely blown away. Returning recently, I noticed the food isn't quite at the same exceptional level it used to be, but it’s still perfectly okay for a casual meal. The flavors just feel a bit different, though the portion sizes and overall atmosphere remain fine. It's still a decent spot to grab a bite, just not the 5-star experience I remembered.
