3 course lunch set at 400,000 vnd (+ 150,000vnd supplement for beef) was incredible value for the quality, the service, the ambience, the presentation... The bouillabaisse was stellar, and the pork belly was outstanding.

An absolutely delightful dining experience! Every dish was crafted with exceptional attention to detail, and the chef’s culinary mastery was evident from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance perfectly complemented the fine dining atmosphere. I was especially impressed by how the ingredients were thoughtfully paired, creating a beautiful harmony of flavors in every bite. Each course showcased the elegance and precision of authentic French cuisine. My only regret was not being able to finish the Wellington duck — simply because I was too full! I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable meal.

An unforgettable dining experience at Lune! The staff provided the utmost service and made us feel like truly honoured guests. We came here for our 6th dating anniversary (without even mentioning it), yet the warm welcome and attention we received far exceeded many other fine dining places we’ve visited. Each dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully introduced, with clear guidance on how best to enjoy it. The onion soup and veal are absolute must-tries — both perfectly executed. For dessert, we loved the Black Forest and Coconut Entremet — a perfect sweet ending to the meal. The team’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the entire evening truly memorable. Kudos to the amazing service team and talented chefs for crafting such a wonderful experience! 👏🏻

Absolute fantastic dining experience at Lüne. Visited for lunch with colleagues and we were amazed. The set menu has a great selection, all very tasty and all at a very reasonable cost. Coup de coeur for the barramundi fish and the Paris-Saigon dessert (a Paris-Brest with a twist). We will be back! Would love to try the 6-course meal

The decor style is simple and elegant. As soon as you enter, the staff greets you warmly and enthusiastically. I was thinking of ordering the set menu, but felt that since I was in Vietnam, I had to try the Michelin-recommended duck breast. So, following the staff’s recommendation, I ordered à la carte. First came the caviar, served with small pastry pieces and a variety of condiments. Actually, eating the caviar on its own was also delicious—a must-order in French cuisine 😆 I ordered the raw beef and oyster tartare. The raw beef was very sweet with a smooth, creamy texture, and paired with crispy bread, it offered a rich mouthfeel. King crab—crab legs, very fresh and sweet, no seasoning needed. The dish came with a small piece of lettuce and crab meat, which was also delicious. The onion soup—a must-order for onion soup lovers! It didn’t have a heavy cream flavor but fully brought out the aroma of onions, with some crispy fried onions on top. Absolutely delicious—I loved it! The duck pithivier—I’d never tried it before. When it was served, it looked like Beef Wellington. After checking, I found out it’s actually the predecessor of Wellington, originating in the 17th century in the small town of Pithivier, located 90 km south of Paris and 48 km north of Orléans—hence the name. The pastry was very tender and flaky. I was already quite full before this dish, but it was truly worth trying. The pithivier was sliced tableside, adding a ceremonial touch. Seeing the layers of filling—firm, not dry duck breast and smooth, delicate duck liver—even someone like me, who doesn’t usually eat liver, found it delicious. The restaurant said this dish is a daily limited special, so I recommend giving it a try! Overall, the service was thoughtful and attentive, with small cards introducing the dishes, making it easier for guests to understand the chef’s intentions. The restaurant is conveniently located, right next to Japanese Street, about a 10-minute walk from the City Hall and the Pink Church.

We had a wonderful dinner at Lune Restaurant in Saigon. We started with the layered foie gras with black truffle, which was elegant, rich, and perfectly balanced. For the main courses, we chose the Patagonian toothfish in potato scales, beautifully cooked and delicate and the roasted veal tenderloin, which was tender, flavorful, and executed with great precision. For dessert, we had the Vanilla and Valrhona Ivoire chocolate, a refined and satisfying finish to the meal. The atmosphere is refined yet warm, and the service was extremely kind and attentive without ever feeling stiff or over-formal. A special touch was Chef Adrien taking the time to come by and say hello, which made the experience even more personal. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the level of execution, and the service, the restaurant offers excellent value for the quality provided. An excellent dining experience that we will happily repeat. Highly recommended… we will definitely be back.

Food was pretty decent but price wise on the higher end. Bill came up to 6 million Dong for a lobster dish, one duck/foie gras, dessert and 3 glasses of wine. The manager also asked if we want to order more dishes which is really not required as we could not even finish the food. Manager should not try to push into offering more when obviously the food is more than enough. The excuse was I need to wait for more than 20 minutes for the food I ordered so I should order some entrees. Zzzzzzzzzz

This is a French fine dining restaurant located in the Lê Thánh Tôn area. The restaurant has a wine and cocktail bar on the ground floor, while the dining area is upstairs on the second floor, creating a more separated atmosphere between drinks and the dining experience. From my experience, ordering à la carte resulted in food being served noticeably faster compared to the tasting or set menu. However, in terms of flavor and overall experience, the à la carte dishes did not feel as refined or memorable as what I would expect from a more carefully curated set menu. The interior and atmosphere are generally pleasant and elegant, suitable for a date or special occasion. That said, I personally feel the lighting could be slightly dimmer to create a warmer and more intimate environment. Adding candles or softer ambient lighting would make the dining experience feel more romantic and aligned with the expectations of a French fine dining restaurant. Regarding service, I would describe it as meeting the standard of a Michelin Selected restaurant, but not exceeding expectations. The staff were polite, attentive, and professional, yet the interactions sometimes felt somewhat mechanical rather than genuinely warm or personalized. One area that could be improved is how dishes are introduced to guests. Explanations about ingredients, inspiration behind the dishes, or recommended ways to enjoy each course were quite brief. In fine dining, storytelling and guidance often contribute significantly to the overall experience, so I expected more detailed introductions and engagement from the service team. As for the food itself, the overall seasoning profile seemed to lean toward saltiness, and I noticed a similar salty note appearing across multiple dishes. While the presentation was refined, none of the dishes left a particularly strong impression or stood out as memorable after the meal. I was hoping for more distinct flavors, creativity, or a signature element that would make the experience easier to remember. Overall, the restaurant provides a decent French fine dining experience with an elegant setting, but there may still be room for improvement in creating stronger emotional impact through both service and cuisine.
