Every dish was a taste explosion - the interplay of warm and cold, the layering of spices, all perfectly balanced. The staff made it just as memorable: proactive, attentive, fluent in English and genuinely thoughtful about every request. A flawless evening from start to finish. Highly recommend. I recommend to plan at least minimum 2-3h for the whole experience.

While doing a Michelin restaurant tour, A by TUNG was one of the best dining experiences I've had by far. The service was great and the food was so amazingly balanced & beautifully presented. The 16 course set menu contrasted flavours and textures exceptionally well. Each course built up anticipation and the non-alcoholic pairings complemented each group of courses. I was told their menu is seasonal, so what I ate might not be on your menu, but that makes me even more excited to return in the future. Thank you to the team for the wonderful experience and I hope to dine at your establishment on my next trip to Vietnam.

An absolute masterclass in modern fine dining. From the moment we stepped into Å by TUNG, the atmosphere was intimate, sophisticated, and welcoming. The tasting menu is a brilliant journey; every course was a meticulously crafted piece of art that balanced bold, innovative flavors with deep respect for local Vietnamese ingredients. While the entire experience was exceptional, the Northern-style Pho was an absolute standout—perfectly balanced and deeply flavorful. The Mekong Delta-inspired Canh Chua was equally impressive, offering a unique and elevated take on the classic soup that I won’t soon forget. It’s rare to find a kitchen that executes both technical precision and soulful storytelling so flawlessly. The staff were incredibly attentive, providing thoughtful explanations of the ingredients and inspiration behind each dish without ever feeling intrusive. This isn’t just dinner; it’s a truly memorable experience. Whether you’re a local foodie or visiting Ho Chi Minh City, this place is an absolute must-visit. Five stars are well-deserved—I am already looking forward to my next visit to see what Chef Tùng and his team create next.

We spent the last night of our honeymoon in Vietnam here, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptionally attentive. We especially enjoyed the creative fusion of different cuisines in the dishes — that pho will stay in my heart forever haha. We also opted for the extra caviar, which was a lovely addition. We’d never had it with dessert before, but it worked surprisingly well with the sweet potato crème brûlée 👌🏻 It’s on the pricier side for Vietnam, but compared to Michelin restaurants we’ve visited before in Europe, it’s very affordable.

Å by Tung delivers a thoroughly pleasant fine-dining experience. The atmosphere is calm, refined, and thoughtfully designed, comfortable without being stiff. Service was attentive and well-paced, making the evening feel relaxed rather than rushed. The food is creative and confident. Each course shows clear intent and technical skill, with flavors that are interesting without being gimmicky. Overall, it’s a very enjoyable culinary journey. One small note: the portions are more generous than what one might typically expect from a tasting menu. That said, this is more a reflection of my own capacity than any fault of the kitchen: the quality and execution remain excellent throughout. All in all, a memorable and satisfying experience. Would happily recommend for those who enjoy creative cuisine and a polished dining atmosphere.

Had an incredible dining experience at À by T.U.N.G in HCMC! Every dish is a pleasant surprise with stunning presentation and outstanding flavors. The appetizers are like edible art. The caviar bites are fresh and bright, while the oysters with zesty green sauce taste pure and ocean‑fresh. Each creative bite brings unexpected texture layers that wow your taste buds. The steak is perfectly cooked, tender and juicy with rich sauce. The salmon roe rice bowl is savory and comforting. Desserts are the perfect finish — well‑balanced, refreshing and never overly sweet. Every course shows the chef’s brilliant creativity. High‑quality ingredients, refined seasoning and thoughtful combinations make the whole meal full of wonderful surprises. Great atmosphere and attentive service. Huge thanks to the restaurant for the lovely complimentary birthday dessert, which made my special day even more memorable. A must‑visit fine‑dining spot in HCMC!

Exceptional service and food! The price is worth every penny compared to some Michelin stars restaurant I had in other countries. Although I wish it had a little more privacy with the tables other than that everything is amazing :)

Came here a few times before and returned today with my mom for a casual dinner. We love the menu, it’s very much A by Tung’s signature style. The phở with foie gras was a standout — such an unexpected combination, but honestly, it worked beautifully. The non-alcoholic pairings were also well curated and complemented the dishes nicely. Service-wise, the staff were friendly and well-trained. One small suggestion: it would be great if guest information could be noted for returning customers, that would really elevate the experience. Besides, there was one thing that left a negative impression — the security staff. I drove my car there today, and at first he was very friendly. After the meal, as I was leaving, I tipped 20,000 VND (which isn’t the customary here, but I appreciated his initial attitude). Unfortunately, right after seeing the amount, he visibly showed dissatisfaction (facial expression). That moment, though small, did take away from an otherwise lovely experience.
