Had a wonderful experience here. Service and food was on point. It lived up to the high expectations I had. 😃 Handmade noodles and serving in a stonebowl was something I’ve never experienced before. I can’t tell if it tasted better than factory made noodles in a ceramic bowl but was a nice touch. 🙂 I also loved their Guava Juice. Nice presentation and it tasted pure without diluted. ☺️

Phở Việt Nam was a great spot for a proper local meal and definitely lived up to expectations! We ordered the bắp hoa and phở tái đá, and both dishes were packed with flavour. The broth was rich and aromatic, and the meat was very fresh and tender. Portions were generous, so you’re definitely getting good value for what you pay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and one of them spoke good English which made ordering easy. He recommended the dishes we got, and they turned out to be great choices. There were heaps of sides to customise your meal, along with a large selection of sauces so you can adjust everything to your taste. It made the whole experience feel a bit more interactive and authentic. The location is convenient and easy to find, and everything felt clean and well run. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with great food, good service, and solid value. Would definitely come back again.

If you are in District 1 and looking for authentic southern style beef pho, this restaurant can’t be any more authentic with sumptuous serving of Vietnamese Pho! Read some reviews on Google and came here. We ordered the Wagyu Beef hot pot pho meal at 160,000 Dong. The raw beef and vegetable condiments came separately with the hotpot soup and you just mix them in as desired. It’s a traditional way of eating so it is up to you on how cooked you want your beef! When mixed, this concoction was simply fantastic! The soup was sweet and the rice noodle at its preserved hotpot temperature was springy and juicy with the soup’s flavor seeped in. The beef was soft and tender with succulent firm taste! All in all, it’s a gem in district 1, which explains why it is a Michelin suggested restaurant. Would go back again for seconds for sure! Highly recommended!

Really good pho, very reasonable pricing in prime tourist area, definitely a must visit. I love eating outdoors on the small red stool, it gives off a very friendly family owned vibe. The service was excellent, we had a very friendly lady take our order and dropped off ice tea for us. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. I love that they make the pho noodle in house so it was definitely unique in terms of taste and texture. The broth was flavorful without being fatty/ oily and gave off a very clean taste. All the meat we had in the pho was very tender, the oxtail was most surprising since it came off the bone very easily. Definitely worthy of Michelin guide for the last 3 years 🙂

I discovered this place through a recommendation from the hotel I was staying at, and it’s just a short walk along the way to Takashimaya Plaza—definitely a stop worth making. Even with the hot weather, I ended up enjoying my pho so much. I ordered the version served in a hot pot, where you mix everything into the boiling broth—raw beef, bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, mint leaves, hoisin sauce, and chili sauce. The broth was rich, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. What really stood out for me was their pickled garlic, which added a unique depth of flavor and made the whole bowl even better. It’s a small detail, but it made a big difference. I’ve been to Vietnam four times already, and honestly, this is the best pho bò I’ve had so far. Highly recommended if you’re in Ho Chi Minh and craving an authentic and memorable bowl of pho.

PHỞ VIỆT NAM Review (late post but worth it) This is a very late review (like 3 months late 😅), but this spot definitely deserves it. If you’re looking for a proper local meal, this place delivers. We ordered the Wagyu beef pho served in a hot stone bowl, and the soup stayed hot the entire time, no sad, lukewarm broth halfway through. Solid experience from start to finish. Service was quick and efficient. Even without a reservation, we were seated right on time, which honestly feels rare these days. Definitely lives up to being a Michelin-recommended spot. Good food, smooth service, no unnecessary fuss. Highly recommended if you want legit pho without the guesswork.

Phở thố đá with wagyu beef was next level. The broth comes out piping hot in a stone bowl, aromatic and comforting. Dipping quẩy into the pho soup is pure perfection. The crispy bread becomes flavourful once dipped. The noodles had a nice springy, silky texture that held up well in the hot broth without going soggy. We also added beef shank and beef balls on the side for extra protein, which made it even more satisfying. Everything comes together really well. Local, authentic vibe, great value, and a great dining experience overall. Definitely worth trying.

Another hidden gem in Ho Chi mInh. This Japanese Izakaya locates inside the Japanese street. It is not very easy to find because it is at the 2nd floor. It is not a super big restaurant but it is just like in Japan. Servers are very friendly and they could speak Japanese. Food is good as usual. It is very good place for meeting friends, gathering, and drinking. Another hidden gem in Ho Chi Minh City. Visit this restaurant because it's recommended by blogger and it is Michelin selected. It is a bit disappointed after trying. First, since it is famous and it is very crowded. It is no difference then any other Franchise restaurant. Came here mainly for the taste of the pho. It ends up that the soup base is really normal, the beef and the pho has no surprise too, especially I chose Australian Wayu. For sure, I have tried many other Pho, are better than this. I have definitely tried many other pho restaurants that tasted better than this one.
